Original Euro Amount definition

Original Euro Amount in relation to a Loan, means:

Original Euro Amount of an Advance is the amount of such Advance in Euro if it had been drawn and had remained denominated throughout its Term in Euro.

Original Euro Amount means, in relation to an Advance, the amount thereof requested in the Utilisation Request relating thereto as the same may be reduced pursuant to Clause 3.6 (Reduction of Available Commitment)) or, if such Advance is not denominated in euro, the equivalent of such amount (as the same may be so reduced) in euro, calculated as at the date of such Utilisation Request.

Examples of Original Euro Amount in a sentence

• If a Term-out Advance is to be prepaid by reference to an Original Euro Amount, the Optional Currency amount to be prepaid shall be determined by reference to the Agent's Spot Rate of Exchange last used for determining the Optional Currency amount of that Term-out Advance under this Clause 5 or, if applicable, the Original Exchange Rate (as defined in Clause 5.10 (Term-out Advances in Optional Currencies)).

• Each Facility C Repayment Instalment (other than the last) shall be in an Original Euro Amount equal as nearly as possible (rounded upwards if necessary) to the percentage, set out in column (2) below opposite the relevant Facility C Repayment Date, of the total outstanding amount of Facility C Advances on the last day of the Facility C Availability Period.

• Each Facility B Repayment Instalment (other than the last) shall be in an Original Euro Amount equal as nearly as possible (rounded upwards if necessary) to the percentage, set out in column (2) below opposite the relevant Facility B Repayment Date, of the total outstanding amount of Facility B Advances on the last day of the Facility B Availability Period.

• If a Facility B Advance is to be repaid or prepaid by reference to an Original Euro Amount, the Optional Currency amount to be repaid or prepaid shall be determined by reference to the Agent’s Spot Rate of Exchange used for determining the Optional Currency amount of that Facility B Advance under Clause 5.4(c) (Participations in Advances) or, if applicable, the Original Exchange Rate.

• The amount of the Facility B Advance for the next Interest Period will be determined by notionally converting into that Optional Currency the Original Euro Amount of the Facility B Advance on the basis of the Agent’s Spot Rate of Exchange three Business Days before the commencement of that Interest Period.

More Definitions of Original Euro Amount

Original Euro Amount means, in relation to an Advance or Letter of Credit, the amount thereof requested in the Notice of Drawdown relating thereto (as the same may be reduced pursuant to Clause 3.9 (Reduction of Available Commitment)) or, if such Advance or Letter of Credit is denominated in an Optional Currency, the equivalent of such amount (as the same may be so reduced) in euro, calculated as at the date of such Notice of Drawdown.

Original Euro Amount means in relation to a Term A2 Advance or a Revolving Advance, the amount specified in the Notice of Drawdown relating thereto, as the same may be reduced pursuant to Clause 6.6 (REDUCTION OF AVAILABLE REVOLVING COMMITMENT).

Original Euro Amount means in relation to any amount:

Original Euro Amount means, in relation to an Advance: (a) if that Advance is denominated in Euro, the amount of that Advance;

Original Euro Amount means in relation to a Drawing: (a) if that Drawing is denominated in Euro, the amount of that Drawing; (b) if that Drawing is denominated in an Alternative Currency, the equivalent in Euro of the amount of that Drawing calculated at the spot exchange rate for the purchase of the relevant Alternative Currency in the Brussels foreign exchange market with Euro at 11:00 a.m. two Business Days before the first day of the Drawing.

Original Euro Amount means the euro equivalent of an amount in an Optional Currency. The "Original Euro Amount" will be calculated using the Exchange Rate applicable on the date on which the amount in the Optional Currency was advanced.
