Origination File definition

Origination File means all information, in hard copy or electronic form, which you create, receive or require in connection with the origination of the loan. For example, the following documents, as applicable, must be in the Origination File: the Borrower’s signed loan application; loan underwriting, processing and approval notes; automated underwriting system findings; evidence or verification of employment, income, assets, deposit, rent and other Borrower debts; credit reports; appraisal or other evidence of the Original Value; evidence of project approval for a condominium or cooperative housing property; and any other documents that are described in our Underwriting Guidelines in effect as of the Application date.
Origination File means, with respect to a Loan, copies of the following documents and data created or received by the Insured in connection with the origination of the Loan and relied upon by the Insured in making its decision in connection with the Loan, if applicable: the Application; the Borrower’s signed loan application; disclosure statements; original purchase contract; buydown agreement; credit reports; verifi- cations of employment, income, assets and deposit; evidence of the Original Value; and such other docu- ments as may be specified in the Default Reporting and Claims Guide as of the Certificate Effective Date.”
Origination File means, with respect to a Covered Loan, copies (either physical or electronic images) of the following documents created or received in connection with the origination and closing of the Covered Loan: the signed loan application; disclosure statements; purchase contract, if applicable; credit reports; verifications of employment, income, assets, and deposit; final HUD-1 or other settlement statement; the note; the mortgage, deed of trust or security deed (including any riders thereto once returned from the land records); and evidence of the Original Value.

Examples of Origination File in a sentence

  • This includes information in the Application, Origination File, Closing File, and any related materials.

  • Subject to Sections 17(h) and 67(a), the Beneficiary and Servicer must cooperate with us and provide us with all reasonable information that we request regarding any loan(s) we insure, whether or not in Default, including access to or a true and complete copy of the Origination File, the Closing File and the Servicing File and such other information as we may determine is related to loans insured under this Policy.

  • Our audits may include a review of the Origination File, Closing File and Servicing File of the loan for compliance with the terms of this Policy, our Underwriting Guidelines, Servicing Guide and Delegated Underwriting Program Guide, if applicable.

  • If an Origination File is authorized or issued by CLIENT, or on CLIENT’s behalf, or CLIENT otherwise benefits from such Origination File, CLIENT agrees to be bound by the Origination File, whether or not Company complies with the Security Procedures.

  • Independent Validation for a delegated loan includes a review of the Application and Origination File to confirm that the loan meets the applicable National MI Underwriting Guidelines and that there are no Significant Defects.

  • Independent Validations are required for 100% of Closing Files when MPHs elect Rescission Relief Option 2 – Non-Delegated with Closing File Independent Validation and for 100% of the Origination File and Closing File when MPHs elect Rescission Relief Option 3 – Delegated with Independent Validation.

More Definitions of Origination File

Origination File means, with respect to each Mortgage Loan, the file created by Lender pursuant to Section 3.05(b) hereof and containing the items listed in Exhibit D. "Origination Period" shall mean the period during which Lender may originate and close Mortgage Loans, such time period commencing on the Start Date and ending on the Final Closing Date, as such dates are set forth in the Program Notice relating to a particular Program Installment.

Related to Origination File

  • Mortgage Loan File As defined in Section 2.1(b) and any additional documents required to be added to the Mortgage Loan File pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Contract File means with respect to each Contract, the physical and/or electronic files in which Credit Acceptance maintains the fully executed original counterpart or “authoritative copy” (in each case, for UCC purposes) of the Contract (to the extent required in accordance with Section 3.03 of this Agreement), either a standard assurance in the form commonly used in the industry relating to the provision of a certificate of title or other evidence of lien, the original or electronic instruments modifying the terms and conditions of such Contract and the original or electronic endorsements or assignments of such Contract.

  • Asset File means the materials with respect to the Assets (i) previously delivered to Buyer or its representatives by or on behalf of Seller, whether written or orally, (ii) made available to Buyer or its representatives at the Hotel or at the offices of Broker, in each case, whether written or orally, or (iii) made available to Buyer or its representatives in the data room web site created by Broker.

  • Loan File With respect to each Loan, a file containing (a) each of the documents and items as set forth on the Loan Checklist with respect to such Loan and (b) duly executed originals and copies of any other relevant records relating to such Loans and the Underlying Assets pertaining thereto.

  • Servicing File With respect to each Mortgage Loan, the file retained by the Company consisting of originals of all documents in the Mortgage File which are not delivered to the Custodian and copies of the Mortgage Loan Documents listed in the Custodial Agreement the originals of which are delivered to the Custodian pursuant to Section 2.03.

  • Custodial File As to each Mortgage Loan, any mortgage loan documents which are delivered to the Custodian or which at any time come into the possession of the Custodian as set forth in Section 2 of this Custodial Agreement.

  • Mortgage File The mortgage documents listed in Section 2.01 pertaining to a particular Mortgage Loan and any additional documents required to be added to the Mortgage File pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Lease File means, for each Lease, the Collateral Lease File applicable to such Lease.

  • Receivable File means the documents (whether tangible or electronic) specified in Section 2.02 pertaining to a particular Receivable.

  • Mortgage loan originator means any institution which originated a Mortgage Loan for a related Borrower.

  • Case file means a record that is assembled and maintained for each application approved for state cost sharing.

  • Receivables Records means (i) all original copies of all documents, instruments or other writings or electronic records or other Records evidencing the Receivables, (ii) all books, correspondence, credit or other files, Records, ledger sheets or cards, invoices, and other papers relating to Receivables, including, without limitation, all tapes, cards, computer tapes, computer discs, computer runs, record keeping systems and other papers and documents relating to the Receivables, whether in the possession or under the control of Grantor or any computer bureau or agent from time to time acting for Grantor or otherwise, (iii) all evidences of the filing of financing statements and the registration of other instruments in connection therewith, and amendments, supplements or other modifications thereto, notices to other creditors or secured parties, and certificates, acknowledgments, or other writings, including, without limitation, lien search reports, from filing or other registration officers, (iv) all credit information, reports and memoranda relating thereto and (v) all other written or nonwritten forms of information related in any way to the foregoing or any Receivable.

  • Retained Mortgage File With respect to each Mortgage Loan, the file consisting of the Mortgage Loan Documents listed as items 6 through 12 of Exhibit C attached hereto. Securities Act: The Securities Act of 1933, as amended.

  • Student Records Means both of the following: (1) Any information that directly relates to a student that is maintained by LEA and (2) any information acquired directly from the student through the use of instructional software or applications assigned to the student by a teacher or other LEA employee. For the purposes of this Agreement, Student Records shall be the same as Educational Records, and Covered Information, all of which are deemed Student Data for the purposes of this Agreement. Service Agreement: Refers to the Contract or Purchase Order to which this DPA supplements and modifies.

  • Master File has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Client Records has the meaning set forth in Section 3.14.

  • Servicing Records All documents, books, records and other information (including, without limitation, computer programs, tapes, disks, data processing software and related property rights) prepared and maintained by the Servicer with respect to the Loans and the related Obligors.

  • Originator means the sender of the first payment order in a funds transfer.

  • Data File means a single record or collection of data records that are logically related to each other, and are handled as a unit;

  • Collateral File With respect to each Mortgage Loan, a file containing each of the Collateral Documents.

  • Collateral Records means books, records, ledger cards, files, correspondence, customer lists, blueprints, technical specifications, manuals, computer software, computer printouts, tapes, disks and related data processing software and similar items that at any time evidence or contain information relating to any of the Collateral or are otherwise necessary or helpful in the collection thereof or realization thereupon.
