Participating Special District definition

Participating Special District means a Special District that executes a release consistent with Section IV below and meets the requirements for becoming a Participating Special District under Section VII.

Examples of Participating Special District in a sentence

  • Each Settling State (for itself and its Releasors) and Participating Subdivision (for itself and its Releasors), and Participating Special District (for itself and its Releasors) will, on or before the Effective Date, absolutely, unconditionally, and irrevocably covenant not to bring, file, or claim, or to cause, assist in bringing, or permit to be brought, filed, or claimed, or to otherwise seek to establish liability for any Released Claims against any Released Entity in any forum whatsoever.

  • An Exhibit G Participant may choose to reallocate all or a portion of its allocation from the Subdivision Fund to the State’s Abatement Accounts Fund or to another Participating Subdivision or Participating Special District.

  • Without limiting the generality of subsection VI.C.1, each Settling State, Participating Subdivision, and Participating Special District shall cooperate in good faith with Xxxxxxx with respect to any tax claim, dispute, investigation, audit, examination, contest, litigation, or other proceeding relating to this Agreement.

  • A Later Participating Special District shall not receive any share of any base or incentive payments paid to the Settlement Fund that were due before it became a Participating Special District.

  • A Special District qualifies as an Initial Participating Special District if it meets the applicable requirements for becoming a Participating Special District by the Initial Participation Date.

Related to Participating Special District

  • Special district means a unit of local government, authorized by law to perform a single function or a limited number of functions. The term includes but is not limited to conservation districts, water districts, weed management districts, irrigation districts, fire districts, community college districts, hospital districts, sewer districts, and transportation districts. The term also includes any district or other entity formed by interlocal agreement.

  • Participating School District As used in Exhibit G and other Exhibits to the DPA, the term Participating School District shall mean a New York State educational agency, as that term is defined in Education Law Section 2-d, that obtains access to the Services through a CoSer agreement with LEA, and shall include LEA if it uses the Services in its own educational or operational programs.

  • Eligible school district means a school district that:

  • Participating Retail Store means any one of the Australian retail stores trading under the following trading names that is authorised by Breville to sell Participating Products and has been invited by the Promoter to participate in the Promotion:

  • Public transit district means a public transit district organized under Title 17B, Chapter 2a, Part 8, Public Transit District Act.

  • Participating Dentist means any Dentist who, at the time of rendering a Covered Dental Service to the Member, has a written agreement with CareFirst BlueChoice or the Dental Plan for the rendering of such service.

  • Residential district means an area of a municipality where 75% or more of the area is zoned for residential housing.

  • Participating Merchant means a Merchant that offers the Online Payment Service as an online payment option on the Merchant’s website.

  • School district means a public school district.

  • Non-Participating Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist means a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Clinical Professional Counselor means a Clinical Professional Counselor who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • SDA district means an SDA district as defined in section 3 of P.L.2000, c.72 (C.18A:7G-3).

  • Tax Increment District or "district" means that area to which the tax increment finance plan pertains.

  • Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Special Distribution has the meaning set forth in Section 11.4.
