Participating Tax Preparer definition

Participating Tax Preparer means the Electronic Return Originator (ERO) and or the individual completing and signing the acknowledged Return as the paid preparer who is an Organization Member of the American Advantage Association authorized to enroll Participants in the Program.

  • If the audit is a result of a legitimate Error made by a Participating Tax Preparer, Company will reimburse the affected Participant for additional fees, penalties and interest assessed up to $2,500.00 for the Return.

  • If the audit is a result of a legitimate Error made by a Participating Tax Preparer, Company will reimburse the affected Participant for the net effect of additional fees, penalties and interest assessed up to $2,500.00 for the Return.

  • XXXX acknowledges and agrees to adhere to XXXXX’s policy that no contact or any other form of communication is made by NUSD with the press or media regarding the DEVCO without advance written approval from XXXXX’s Chief Executive Officer.

  • If the assessment is a result of a legitimate Error made by a Participating Tax Preparer, Company will reimburse the affected Participant for the net effect of additional taxes, penalties and interest assessed up to a combined $2,500.00 for the Business Return.

Related to Participating Tax Preparer

  • Preparer means the Company that is responsible for the preparation and filing of the applicable Tax Return pursuant to Sections 3.1 or 3.2.

  • Tax return preparer means any individual described in Section 7701(a)(36) of the Internal Revenue Code and 26 C.F.R. 301.7701-15 .

  • Designated Group means - i) Black designated groups; ii) Black People; iii) Women; iv) people with disabilities or v) Small enterprise, as defined in Section 1 of National Small Enterprise Act, (102 of 1996)

  • Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Participating Dentist means any Dentist who, at the time of rendering a Covered Dental Service to the Member, has a written agreement with CareFirst BlueChoice or the Dental Plan for the rendering of such service.

  • Pre-Closing Tax Return has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1(a).

  • Non-Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Participating member means a member who is required to make mandatory contributions by the applicable retirement act to his or her health reimbursement account.

  • Independent Tax Counsel means a lawyer, a certified public accountant with a nationally recognized accounting firm, or a compensation consultant with a nationally recognized actuarial and benefits consulting firm with expertise in the area of executive compensation tax law, who shall be selected by the Board, and whose fees and disbursements shall be paid by the Company.

  • Participating Party means an enterprise or public body that has committed itself to reaching certain objectives under a voluntary agreement, or is covered by a national regulatory policy instrument;

  • Identified Participating Lenders has the meaning set forth in Section 2.05(a)(v)(C)(3).

  • Participating Provider means an Administrator Hospital or Professional Provider which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to participants in the Participating Provider Option program or an Administrator facility which has been designated by the Claim Administrator as a Participating Provider.

  • Income Tax Return means any Tax Return relating to Income Taxes.

  • Pre-Closing Tax Returns has the meaning set forth in Section 4.02(b).

  • Non-U.S. Tax Person A person other than a U.S. Tax Person.

  • Non-Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has not been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Participating Orthotic Provider means an Orthotic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Orthotic Provider means an Orthotic Provider who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • School operating taxes means local ad valorem property taxes levied under section 1211 of the revised school code, MCL 380.1211, and retained for school operating purposes.

  • Designated Representatives means the Subordination Agent Representatives, the Trustee Representatives and the Provider Representatives identified under Section 2.5.

  • Post-Distribution Tax Period means a Tax year beginning and ending after the Distribution Date.

  • U.S. Tax Person means a Person that is a “United States person” as defined in Section 7701(a)(30) of the Code, generally including:

  • Income Tax Returns means all Tax Returns relating to Income Taxes.

  • Tax Audit means any audit, assessment, or other examination relating to Taxes by any Tax Authority or any judicial or administrative proceedings relating to Taxes.

  • Participating Holders means all Holders of Registrable Securities which are proposed to be included in any offering of Registrable Securities pursuant to Section 2.1 or Section 2.2.

  • Non-Participating Provider means an Administrator Hospital or Professional Provider which does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to participants in the Participating Provider Option program or a facility which has not been designated by the Claim Administrator as a Participating Provider.
