Participating Taxing Entity definition

Participating Taxing Entity means any governmental entity recognized as such by Texas law which is participating in this Project by contributing a percentage of its tax increment.
Participating Taxing Entity means the CITY and COUNTY.

  • To the extent permitted by Texas law, no director, officer, employee or agent of the City, the Board, or any other Participating Taxing Entity shall be personally responsible for any liability arising under or growing out of this Agreement.

  • Each Participating Taxing Entity shall participate in the payment of Project Costs only to the extent described herein.

  • City and Board shall use reasonable efforts to cause each Participating Taxing Entity which levies real property taxes in the TIRZ to levy and collect their ad valorem taxes due on the Project Site and to contribute their portion of the Available Tax Increment Funds toward reimbursing the Developer for the construction of the Public Improvements required under the Project Plan, Finance Plan, and this Agreement.
