Pavement Marking definition

Pavement Marking means any kind of device or material that is used on a road surface to convey official information to the traveling public.
Pavement Marking means a retro-reflective mechanism such as paint used to delineate a profile, such as a road.
Pavement Marking. The ENGINEER shall detail permanent and temporary pavement markings and channelization devices on plan sheets. Pavement Marking means a retroreflectorized white marking in advance of an at-grade crossing that consists of an X, the letters RR as shown in Figure 8B-7 of the MUTCD.
