PEM Fuel Cell. The Proton Exchange Membrane ("PEM") Fuel Cell is a ------------- electrochemical device designed to convert hydrogen and oxygen to electricity with high efficiency and is characterized by high power density in terms of weight and size and as designed, developed, assembled and tested pursuant to this Agreement.
PEM Fuel Cell means a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell, an electrochemical fuel cell that converts chemical energy from hydrogen (and air) to electrical energy and water and consists of a solid electrolyte, usually a PEM, sandwiched between two electrodes.
