Permitted Fixed Income Securities definition

Permitted Fixed Income Securities has the meaning provided in Section 3.02(a).
Permitted Fixed Income Securities means U.S. Government Securities and Cash Equivalents; provided, however, that Permitted Fixed Income Securities shall not include any interest-only obligation, any obligation that bears interest at an inverse floating rate, any obligation the interest rate of which is variable (unless such interest rate is established by reference to a Quoted Rate plus a fixed spread, if any, and such interest rate moves proportionally with such Quoted Rate), any obligation whose repayment is subject to substantial non-credit related risk, including any security whose rating assigned by S&P includes the subscript "r" or "t", or any obligation that may be subject to call or prepayment prior to its maturity. Permitted Fixed Income Securities must have a predetermined fixed dollar amount of principal due at maturity that cannot vary or change. With respect to each Permitted Fixed Income Security held by the Fund (a "Fixed Income Security"):

  • Fixed Income Securities means Debt Securities created and issued by, inter alia, Central Government, State Government, Local Authorities, Municipal Corporations, PSUs, Public Companies, Private Companies, Bodies Corporate, Unincorporated SPVs and any other entities which may be recognized / permitted which yield a fixed or variable rate by way of interest, premium, discount or a combination of any of them.

  • Restricted Investment means an Investment other than a Permitted Investment.

  • Permitted Investment means an Investment by the Company or any Restricted Subsidiary in:

  • Permitted Investors the collective reference to the Sponsor and its Control Investment Affiliates.

  • Restricted Investments means all Investments except the following:

  • Performing Non-Cash Pay Mezzanine Investments means Performing Mezzanine Investments other than Performing Cash Pay Mezzanine Investments.

  • Performing Non-Cash Pay High Yield Securities means Performing High Yield Securities other than Performing Cash Pay High Yield Securities.

  • Qualified equity investment means any equity investment in, or long-term debt security issued by, a qualified community development entity that:

  • Permitted Business Investments means Investments by the Company or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries in any Unrestricted Subsidiary of the Company or in any Joint Venture, provided that:

  • Control Investment Affiliate as to any Person, any other Person that (a) directly or indirectly, is in control of, is controlled by, or is under common control with, such Person and (b) is organized by such Person primarily for the purpose of making equity or debt investments in one or more companies.   • Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company.

  • Performing Cash Pay High Yield Securities means High Yield Securities (a) as to which, at the time of determination, not less than 2/3rds of the interest (including accretions and “pay-in-kind” interest) for the current monthly, quarterly, semiannual or annual period (as applicable) is payable in cash and (b) which are Performing.

  • Qualified Equity Interest means, with respect to any Person, any Equity Interest of such Person that is not a Disqualified Equity Interest.

  • Permitted Business Investment means any Investment made in the ordinary course of, and of a nature that is or shall have become customary in, the Oil and Gas Business including investments or expenditures for actively exploiting, exploring for, acquiring, developing, producing, processing, gathering, marketing or transporting oil, natural gas or other Hydrocarbons and minerals through agreements, transactions, interests or arrangements which permit one to share risks or costs, comply with regulatory requirements regarding local ownership or satisfy other objectives customarily achieved through the conduct of the Oil and Gas Business jointly with third parties including:

  • Permitted Cash Equivalent Investments means (i) marketable direct obligations issued or unconditionally guaranteed by the United States or any agency or any State thereof having maturities of not more than two (2) years from the date of acquisition and (ii) commercial paper maturing no more than one (1) year after its creation and having the highest rating from either Standard & Poor’s Ratings Group or Xxxxx’x Investors Service, Inc.

  • Performing Cash Pay Mezzanine Investments means Mezzanine Investments (a) as to which, at the time of determination, not less than 2/3rds of the interest (including accretions and “pay-in-kind” interest) for the current monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual period (as applicable) is payable in cash and (b) which are Performing.
