Phase I unit definition

Phase I unit means any affected unit, except an affected unit under rules 3745-103-22 to 3745-103-54 of the Administrative Code, that is subject to an acid rain emissions reduction requirement or acid rain emissions limitations beginning in phase I; or any unit exempt under rule 3745-103-04 of the Administrative Code that, but for such exemption, would be subject to an acid rain emissions limitation beginning in phase I.
Phase I unit means a CAIR NOx Ozone Season unit that is a fossil-fuel-fired unit that operated at any time prior to November 15, 1990 and that serves a generator with a nameplate capacity of fifteen (15) megawatts or more.

  • If there is a change in the owners, operators, or designated representative of the substitution unit or the Phase I unit during a year under paragraph (e)(3)(iv)(D)( 1) or (2) of this section and, with the change, the units do not have a common owner, operator, or des- ignated representative, then the des- ignated representatives for such units shall submit a notification to termi- nate the plan so that the plan will ter- minate as of January 1 of the calendar year during which the change is made.

  • Phase III means Phase I (or Phase I/II), Phase II (or Phase II/III) and Phase III clinical trials, respectively, in each case as prescribed by applicable FDA IND Regulations, or any corresponding foreign statutes, rules or regulations.

  • Phase I Study means a study in humans which provides for the first introduction into humans of a product, conducted in healthy volunteers or patients to obtain information on product safety, tolerability, pharmacological activity or pharmacokinetics, as more fully defined in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(a) (or the non-United States equivalent thereof).

  • Phase 1 means the phase of the ATP comprised of: (1) improvements to the State Street Substation; (2) construction of the Proposed Line; (3) the rebuilding of NYSEG’s existing Lines 971 and 000 xxxxx xx Xxxxxxxx Xxxx xx the NYSEG ROW to allow for construction of the Proposed Line as intended; (4) improvements to the Elbridge Substation to accept the Proposed Line; and (5) National Grid’s conveyance to NYSEG of the NYSEG Acquired ROW and such other land interests as contemplated by the Purchase and Sale Agreement.

  • Phase I means the first part of the tuition incentive assistance program defined as the academic period of 80 semester or 120 term credits, or less, leading to an associate degree or certificate.

  • Phase 2 means the phase of the ATP comprised of: (1) improvements to the State Street Substation to receive Rebuilt Line 972; (2) the rebuilding of NYSEG’s existing Line 972 not performed in Phase 1; (3) construction of Relocated Line 15; (4) the construction of Bused Line 5; (5) improvements to the Elbridge Substation to receive Relocated Line 15; and (6) improvements to the Elbridge Substation to receive Bused Line 5.

  • Generating Unit means one or more generating equipment combinations typically consisting of prime mover(s), electric generator(s), electric transformer(s), steam generator(s) and air emission control devices.

  • Development Project means a project for the development of land within a project area.

  • Phase II Study means a human clinical trial, for which the primary endpoints include a determination of dose ranges and/or a preliminary determination of efficacy in patients being studied as described in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(b) (FDCA), as amended from time to time, and the foreign equivalent thereof.

  • Project site, where applicable, means the place indicated in bidding documents.

  • Phase I Trial means a clinical trial of a Licensed Product in human patients conducted primarily for the purpose of determining the safety, tolerability and preliminary activity of the Licensed Product, including, without limitation, for determining the maximum tolerated dose, or optimal dose. For purposes of this Agreement, a Phase I trial shall specifically exclude a study in healthy volunteers.

  • Phase or “Phases” in respect of the Project shall mean that the components of the Project are placed in service during more than one year during the Investment Period, and the word “Phase” shall therefore refer to the applicable portion of the Project placed in service in a given year during the Investment Period.

  • Development Fee means a fee for the packaging of a Property, including negotiating and approving plans, and undertaking to assist in obtaining zoning and necessary variances and necessary financing for the Property, either initially or at a later date.

  • Operating Unit means, for purposes of this part, primary and constituent operating units designated as such in the Department Order Series of the De- partment of Commerce and, in addi- tion, the Office of the Secretary.

  • The Project Site, where applicable, means the place or places named in the SCC.

  • Commercial unit means such a unit of goods as by commercial usage is a single whole for purposes of lease and division of which materially impairs its character or value on the market or in use. A commercial unit may be a single article, as a machine, or a set of articles, as a suite of furniture or a line of machinery, or a quantity, as a gross or carload, or any other unit treated in use or in the relevant market as a single whole.

  • Carbon regeneration unit means any enclosed thermal treatment device used to regenerate spent activated carbon.

  • Phase III Study means a human clinical trial that is prospectively designed to demonstrate statistically whether a product is safe and effective for use in humans in a manner sufficient to obtain regulatory approval to market such product in patients having the disease or condition being studied as described in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(c) (FDCA), as amended from time to time, and the foreign equivalent thereof.
