Post Harvest Operator definition

Post Harvest Operator means the person or persons packing, cool storing, or packing and cool storing the Grower’s crop;
Post Harvest Operator means a business that provides services to the Kiwifruit industry in relation to the harvesting, sorting, packing and cool storage of Kiwifruit prior to its distribution to market.

  • Any new hazards identified after provision of the orchard map must be advised to the Registered Supplier and Post Harvest Operator immediately upon the Grower becoming aware of them.

  • Where Growers elect to self-pick or engage a contractor other than the Post Harvest Operator to pick their fruit, it is the Grower’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all health and safety legislative and regulatory requirements.

  • For cleanup and disposal of materials contaminated by accidental spills or materials contaminated within the refueling and maintenance area(s), the Spill Cleanup procedure in Appendix A will be followed.

  • Where reasonable care is taken neither the Registered Supplier, the Post Harvest Operator or their respective officers, agents or employees will be liable for any loss or damage suffered or incurred by a Grower where such loss is attributable to Psa or any other biosecurity event or cause.

  • The Grower authorises the Registered Supplier and/or Post Harvest Operator to pass on relevant health and safety information about the Grower’s orchard to ZGL and the relevant contractor.
