Previously Looked After definition

Previously Looked After means a child has a special guardianship order appointing one or more individuals to be their special guardian(s), under section 14A of the Children Act 1989, a child arrangement/residence order settling the arrangements to be made as to the person with whom the child is to live under section 8 of the Children Act 1989 or an adoption order under section 46 of the Adoption and Children act 2002 or Section 12 of the 1976 Adoption Act. ‘Catholic’ means a member of the Church in communion with the See of Rome. This includes the Eastern Catholic Churches. This will normally be evidenced by a certificate

  • Looked After and Previously Looked After Children Looked after and previously looked after children will be allocated places in this category by reference to the proximity of the child’s home address (as defined by this policy) to the Academy, with those living nearer receiving higher priority.
