Public benefit means making capital available, or facilitating the availability of capital, to businesses in this state that have 750 or fewer employees, the intent of which is to create or retain employment opportunities for residents of this state, stabilize or increase the tax base of this state, or support the redevelopment of facilities for use by small businesses.
Net Benefits Test means a calculation to determine whether the benefits of a reduction in price resulting from the dispatch of Economic Load Response exceeds the cost to other loads resulting from the billing unit effects of the load reduction, as specified in Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, section 3.3A.4 and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K-Appendix, section 3.3A.4.
Pharmacy benefit manager means a person, business or other
Annual Benefit Limit means the maximum amount of benefits paid by the Company to the Policy Holder in a Policy Year irrespective of whether any limits of any benefit items stated in the Benefit Schedule have been reached. The Annual Benefit Limit is counted afresh in a new Policy Year.
Medical Benefits Schedule means the Medicare Schedule of Benefits produced by the Department of Health to which all fees and benefits relate for inpatient hospital services.
Lifetime Benefit Limit means the maximum amount of benefits paid by the Company to the Policy Holder cumulatively since the inception of these Terms and Benefits, irrespective whether any limits of any benefit items stated in the Benefit Schedule have been reached or whether the Annual Benefit Limit in a Policy Year has been reached.
Tax Benefit Payment is defined in Section 3.1(b) of this Agreement.
Early Retirement Benefit means the retirement benefit payable to a member following early
Employee Contribution means any contribution made to the Plan by or on behalf of a Participant that is included in the Participant's gross income in the year in which made and that is maintained under a separate account to which earnings and losses are allocated.
Regular benefits ’ means benefits payable to an individual under this act or under any other state law, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen pursuant to 5 U.S.C. chapter 85, other than extended benefits.
Gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are less than, greater than or equal to the schedule fee, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:
Matching Contribution means an Employer contribution made to this or any other defined contribution plan on behalf of a Participant on account of a Participant's Deferral Contribution.
Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.
Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement. It does not include any amount that is only payable in the event of Accidental Death.
Medical Benefits means the monthly fair market value of benefits provided to the Employee and the Employee’s dependents under the major medical, dental and vision benefit plans sponsored and maintained by the Company, at the level of coverage in effect for such persons immediately prior to the Employee’s termination of employment date. The “monthly fair market value” of such benefits shall be equal to the monthly cost as if such persons elected COBRA continuation coverage at such time at their own expense.
Accrued Benefit have the meanings specified in ERISA.
Dependent adult means a person 18 years of age or older who is unable to protect the person’s own interests or unable to adequately perform or obtain services necessary to meet essential human needs, as a result of a physical or mental condition which requires assistance from another.
Benefit Amount shall have the meaning set forth in Section 20.12 hereof.
Relevant Benefits means any pension, annuity, lump sum, gratuity or other like benefit given or to be given on retirement or death, or in anticipation of retirement.
Company Matching Contributions means any contributions made to the Company Matching Account of a Participant by a Participating Employer as provided for in Section 4.02.
Dependent student means one who is listed as a dependent on the federal or state income tax return
SERP Benefit means the benefit described in Section 5.1.
Net Benefit means the present value of the Covered Payments net of all federal, state, local, foreign income, employment and excise taxes.
Maximum Benefit Amount means the maximum amount payable for coverage provided to You as shown in the Schedule of Benefits.
Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.
Access Compensation is the compensation paid by one Party to the other Party for the origination/termination of intraLATA toll calls to/from its End User. Access compensation is in accordance with the LEC’s tariffed access rates.
