Reference Currency definition

Reference Currency means the currency specified as such in the applicable Final Terms.
Reference Currency or ’Reference Currencies’ means (according to the context) the primary investment currency of the share class against which the currency hedging transaction will be applied in order to reduce any exchange rate fluctuation with the Hedged Currency.
Reference Currency means that as set forth in the definition of Equivalent Amount.

Examples of Reference Currency in a sentence

  • If the value of the Notional Amount in the Reference Currency at the Settlement Rate on the Fixing Date is greater than the Reference Currency Notional Amount, payment of the difference will be made by Argentex on the Maturity Date (Delivery Date/Value Date).

  • If the value of the Notional Amount in the Reference Currency at the Settlement Rate on the Fixing Date is less than the Reference Currency Notional Amount, payment of the difference must be made by the Client to Argentex on the Maturity Date (Delivery Date/ Value Date).

  • On the Fixing Date, Argentex will determine the amount payable in the Settlement Currency by calculating the difference between the Reference Currency Notional Amount and the value of the Notional Amount in the Reference Currency at the Settlement Rate.
