Refreshment Vehicle definition

Refreshment Vehicle means a motorized vehicle which has equipment inside the vehicle for preparing food and requires the proprietor to be inside the vehicle to prepare the food for consumption by the public.

Refreshment Vehicle means a Commercial Motor Vehicle from which Refreshments are sold or offered for sale to the public but does not include a Motor Vehicle used for the exclusive sale of ice cream or ice cream cones, but does include a Full Service Food Truck for the duration of the Full Service Food Truck Pilot Project. Refreshment Vehicle means a Vehicle which is used or is intended to be used for the Sale of Refreshments and includes a Refreshment Vehicle – Type 1, 2, and 3.

• Every Refreshment Vehicle Owner shall take out a separate Licence for each Refreshment Vehicle owned by him which is to be operated in the City.

• The Licence Manager shall issue a Licence and an Owner’s Plate for each Motor Vehicle to an applicant entitled to be licensed as a Refreshment Vehicle Owner under this by-law.

More Definitions of Refreshment Vehicle

Refreshment Vehicle means a Vehicle from which Refreshments are sold. A Refreshment Vehicle does not include a Vehicle from which meals, groceries and other food products intended to be consumed over a long period of time are sold.

Refreshment Vehicle means, without a qualifier, a Refreshment Vehicle – Type 1, Type 2 and/or Type 3;

Refreshment Vehicle means any vehicle from which refreshments are sold for consumption by the public and includes, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, carts, wagons, trailers, trucks, and bicycles, irrespective of the type of power employed to move the refreshment vehicle from point to point.

Refreshment Vehicle means any vehicle from which refreshments are sold for consumption by the public and includes, but is not limited to, tricycles, carts, wagons, trailers, trucks, and mobile canteens, irrespective of the type of power employed to move the refreshment vehicle from one point to another.

Refreshment Vehicle means a vehicle from which food or drinks are sold or offered for sale to the public but does not include an ice cream truck;

Refreshment Vehicle means a vehicle or other itinerant food premises from which pre-packaged food items are provided for sale or sold and in which no food is prepared except beverages;

Refreshment Vehicle means any vehicle of any type, with or without wheels, or a portable unit designed for the purpose of preparing, selling or dispensing food or drinks intended for consumption by the general public, and shall include a chip wagon, mobile canteen, refreshment vending cart, portable outdoor food service unit equipped with fuel-fired liquefied petroleum gas or liquefied natural gas apparatus.
