Reinsurance undertaking from another Member State definition

Reinsurance undertaking from another Member State means a legal person established in another Member State and authorised in the home Member State to conduct reinsurance business.
Reinsurance undertaking from another Member State means a legal person with head office in another Member State which is authorised by the competent supervisory authority to pursue the reinsurance business;

  • reinsurance undertaking means reinsurance undertaking as defined in point (4) of Article 13 of Directive 2009/138/EC;

  • insurance undertaking means an insurance undertaking as defined in Article 13, point (1), of Directive 2009/138/EC;

  • Master Standby Agreement means the Master Agreement for Standby Letters of Credit dated as of the Closing Date among Borrowers, as Applicant(s), and GE Capital, as issuer.

  • parent institution in a Member State means an institution which has a institution or a financial institution as a subsidiary or which holds a participation in such an institution, and which is not itself a subsidiary of another institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in the same Member State.

  • Nonmember state means a state that has not enacted this compact.

  • parent financial holding company in a Member State means a financial holding company which is not itself a subsidiary of an institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in the same Member State;

  • parent mixed financial holding company in a Member State means a mixed financial holding company which is not itself a subsidiary of an institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in that same Member State;

  • Non-member state means: a state that has not enacted this compact.

  • Amalgamation Application means the amalgamation application that will be filed with the Registrar under subsection 275(1)(a) of the BCBCA in order to give effect to the Amalgamation, substantially in the form attached hereto as Schedule C;

  • home Member State means either of the following:

  • primary insolvency jurisdiction means the Contracting State in which the centre of the debtor’s main interests is situated, which for this purpose shall be deemed to be the place of the debtor’s statutory seat or, if there is none, the place where the debtor is incorporated or formed, unless proved otherwise;

  • EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule means the EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule published by the Loan Market Association (or any successor person), as in effect from time to time.

  • public works contract means any agreement between any individual, firm or corporation and the State or any political subdivision of the State other than a municipality for construction, rehabilitation, conversion, extension, demolition or repair of a public building, highway or other changes or improvements in real property, or which is financed in whole or in part by the State, including, but not limited to, matching expenditures, grants, loans, insurance or guarantees.

  • Member States means the Member States of the Union;

  • Member State means a member state of the European Union.

  • Employee of a facility means a person who is an employee of a facility defined by Section 250.001, Health and Safety Code, or any other person who provides services for a facility for compensation, including a contract laborer.

  • Treaty on European Union means the Treaty of Rome of March 25, 1957, as amended by the Single Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and the Maastricht Treaty (which was signed at Maastricht on February 7, 1992, and came into force on November 1, 1993), as amended from time to time.

  • School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.

  • Participating Member States means the member states of the European Communities that adopt or have adopted the euro as their lawful currency in accordance with the legislation of the European Union relating to European Monetary Union.

  • Participating Member State means any member state of the European Union that has the Euro as its lawful currency in accordance with legislation of the European Union relating to Economic and Monetary Union.

  • Foreign Government Scheme or Arrangement has the meaning specified in Section 5.12(d).

  • School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.

  • Union harmonisation legislation means any Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products;

  • EEA Agreement means the Agreement on the European Economic Area signed at Oporto on 2nd May 1992 as adjusted by the Protocol signed at Brussels on 17th March 1993;

  • Applicable Public Official or State Employee means any public official or state employee described in

  • Licensed financial institution means a financial institution issued a license under this act.
