Examples of Release in a sentence
For purposes of this Section 10(d), “Release Expiration Date” shall mean the date that is twenty-one (21) days following the date upon which the Company timely delivers the Release to Executive, or, in the event that Executive’s termination of employment is “in connection with an exit incentive or other employment termination program” (as such phrase is defined in the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967), the date that is forty-five (45) days following such delivery date.
As an additional prerequisite for receipt of the severance benefits described in Sections 5(c)(i) and (iii) above, the Employee must execute, deliver to the Company a Release and such Release must become irrevocable (to the extent the Employee is allowed to do so) within fifty-three (53) days of the date of the Employee’s termination of employment (the “Release Period”).
Finally, the Employee has not been forced or pressured in any manner whatsoever to sign this Release, and the Employee agrees to all of its terms voluntarily.
The Employee also understands that the Employee has a period of seven (7) days after signing this Release within which to revoke his or her agreement, and that neither the Company nor any other person is obligated to make the payments or provide the benefits under the Employment Agreement that are conditioned upon the execution and non-revocation of this Release until eight (8) days have passed since the Employee’s signing of this Release without the Employee’s signature having been revoked.
The Company shall deliver the Release to be executed by the Executive, which shall be in all material respects in the form attached as hereto as Exhibit A, within ten (10) calendar days of Executive’s Date of Termination.
