Approved Jurisdiction means a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA) or any other jurisdiction or sector as may be approved by the European Commission as ensuring adequate legal protections for personal data.
Offshore facility ’ means any facility of any kind located in, on, or under any of the navigable waters of the United States, and any facility of any kind which is subject to the ju- risdiction of the United States and is located in, on, or under any other waters, other than a vessel or a public vessel;
Total organ dose equivalent (TODE) means the sum of the deep dose equivalent and the committed dose equivalent to the organ receiving the highest dose as described in 641—40.86(1)“f.”

Public Vehicle means a Person whose securities are listed and traded on a national securities exchange and shall include a majority owned subsidiary of any such Person or any operating partnership through which such Person conducts all or substantially all of its business.
Restricted Jurisdiction means any jurisdiction where local laws or regulations may result in a significant risk of civil, regulatory or criminal exposure if information concerning the Acquisition is sent or made available in that jurisdiction;
Natural Outlet means any outlet into a watercourse, pond, ditch, lake, or other body of surface or groundwater.
Qualified Jurisdiction at any time of determination, any jurisdiction in which Kimco or any of its Subsidiaries is doing business at such time the government of which jurisdiction is internationally recognized at such time, including by the United States Government.
the International Bureau means the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Designated Jurisdiction means any country or territory to the extent that such country or territory itself is the subject of any Sanction.
Public schools means the schools and other institutions mentioned in subsection
All-terrain vehicle means either of the following:
Hedging Transactions means, with respect to any or all of the Purchased Loans, any short sale of U.S. Treasury Securities or mortgage-related securities, futures contract (including Eurodollar futures) or options contract or any interest rate swap, cap or collar agreement or similar arrangements providing for protection against fluctuations in interest rates or the exchange of nominal interest obligations, either generally or under specific contingencies, entered into by Seller or the underlying obligor with respect to any Purchased Loan and pledged to Seller as collateral for such Purchased Loan, with one or more counterparties whose unsecured debt is rated at least AA (or its equivalent) by any Rating Agency or, with respect to any Hedging Transaction pledged to Seller as additional collateral for a Purchased Loan, such other rating requirement applicable to such Hedging Transaction set forth in the related Purchased Loan Documents or which is otherwise reasonably acceptable to Buyer; provided that Seller shall not grant or permit any liens, security interests, charges, or encumbrances with respect to any such hedging arrangements for the benefit of any Person other than Buyer.
Permitted Jurisdiction means the United States or any state thereof, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or British Crown Dependencies, any other member country of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, or any political subdivision of any of the foregoing.
Public defender means a federal public defender, county
Specified Jurisdiction means with respect to Party A
public purpose means any of the purposes for which land may be reserved under Part 4 of the Land Administration Act 1997, and any purpose declared by the Governor pursuant to that Act, by notification in the Government Gazette to be a public purpose within the meaning of that Act;
designated foreign jurisdiction means Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland;
Permitted Jurisdictions has the meaning specified in Section 801(a)(1).
Permitted Junior Securities means Equity Interests in the Company or debt securities that are subordinated to all Senior Debt (and any debt securities issued in exchange for Senior Debt) to substantially the same extent as, or to a greater extent than, the Notes are subordinated to Senior Debt pursuant to this Indenture.
Registration Office means in respect of any class of share capital, such place or places in the Relevant Territory or elsewhere where the Directors from time to time determine to keep a branch register of shareholders of the Company in respect of that class of share capital and where (except in cases where the Directors otherwise agree) transfers of other documents of title for such class of share capital are to be lodged for registration and are to be registered;
Cooperative Stock With respect to a Cooperative Loan, the single outstanding class of stock, partnership interest or other ownership instrument in the related Cooperative.
the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);
Public Safety and/or “Nuisance” means anything which is injurious to the safety or health of an entire community or neighborhood, or any considerable number of persons, or unlawfully obstructs the free passage or use, in the customary manner, of any navigable lake, or river, bay, stream, canal, or basin.
Offshore Transaction Any “offshore transaction” as defined in Rule 902(h) of Regulation S.
Institutional Holder means any insurance company, bank, savings and loan association, trust company, investment company, charitable foundation, employee benefit plan (as defined in ERISA) or other institutional investor or financial institution.
