Designated Jurisdiction definition

Designated Jurisdiction means any country or territory to the extent that such country or territory itself is the subject of any Sanction.

  • No Borrowing, nor the proceeds from any Borrowing, has been used, directly or to the knowledge of the Borrower, indirectly, to lend, contribute, provide or be otherwise made available (i) to fund any activity or business in any Designated Jurisdiction that would cause a violation of the Sanctions, (ii) to any Person on the SDN List in violation of Sanctions or (iii) to any Person who is the target of any other Sanctions in violation of Sanctions.
