The Parties may agree to extend the Research Collaboration by extending the Initial Funded Research Period.
If the Initial Funded Research Period is extended, the Research Term shall be extended by the same time period.
User shall only use the Equipment in the Facilities for the Research during the Research Period per the Approved Schedule, and any changes thereto shall be coordinated with and approved by a representative of the Rice GDEC.
The Rice GDEC will determine the costs and expenses applicable to User’s use of the Equipment and the Facilities for the performance of Research during the Research Period, and will provide User and User’s Employer with an invoice therefor.
The University may disclose, announce or publicly release the Research Result (or where the Research Period continues for more than one year, the Research Result acquired in the relevant fiscal year) with a written notice to the Partner stating the contents of such release no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled day of the public release of the Research Result.
