Resource Person when used in this Agreement shall mean the first supervisory level excluded from the bargaining unit. The Union recognizes that the management of the Centre and the direction of working forces are fixed exclusively in the Centre, and shall remain solely with the Centre, except as specifically limited by the provisions of this Agreement, and without restricting the generality of the foregoing, the Union acknowledges that it is the exclusive function of the Centre to: Maintain order discipline and efficiency; Hire, assign, retire, discharge, direct, promote, demote, classify, transfer, layoff, recall and suspend or otherwise discipline nurses, provided that a claim of discharge, suspension or discipline without just cause may be the subject of a grievance and dealt with as hereinafter provided. Related to Resource Person

  • Resources shall have the meaning set forth in Section 23.1 of this Agreement.

  • Elderly person means any person 65 years of age or older who is not subject to the provisions of ORS 441.640 to 441.665.
