Retail Commercial Use definition

Retail Commercial Use means a commercial business that provides goods and / or services directly to the consumer, where such goods are available for either immediate purchase and removal from the premise by the purchaser; or for immediate consumption within the premise by the purchaser. Exam- ples of such uses include galleries, toy stores, T-shirt shops, souvenir shops, drug stores, restaurants, bars or chocolate shops.

Retail Commercial Use. – means the use of any land or building for the purpose of retail buying or selling of goods by or to consumers but shall not include warehousing, wholesaling, manufacturing or assembling of goods that is not accessory to a retail commercial use, or any other use defined in this By-law.

  • Commercial Use means the use to which the material can commercially be put.

  • Non-Commercial Use means any use or activity where a fee is not charged and the purpose is not the sale of a good or service, and the use or activity is not intended to produce a profit.

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.
