Retailer Controlled Selling Device definition

Retailer Controlled Selling Device means a device which is not a Terminal and which is controlled by a retailer for the purpose of issuing lottery tickets and entering, receiving, and processing lottery transactions, including making purchases, validating tickets, and transmitting reports. Examples of Retailer Controlled Selling Devices include cash registers. Retailer Controlled Selling Devices must meet all security requirements of the Selling Lottery, these Rules and the MUSL Rules. Retailer Controlled Selling Devices do not include player provided point of sale devices such as smartphones.
