Roll angle definition

Roll angle is the angle of a fixed linear reference connecting two reference points either side of the vehicle longitudinal centre plane on the front or rear (as applicable) of the vehicle body, relative to a level surface or horizontal reference plane. An example of a suitable fixed linear reference for rear roll angle measurement is illustrated in Figure 9-2 of Annex 9.
