Rural ACO definition

Rural ACO means an ACO in this Model for which at least 40 percent of the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) codes in its service area are determined to be rural according to the definition of “rural” used by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Office of Rural Health Policy. Such definition includes all non-Metropolitan counties, census tracts inside Metropolitan counties with Rural-Urban Commuting Area (RUCA) codes 4- 10, and census tracts with RUCA codes 2 or 3 that are at least 400 square miles in area with a population density of no more than 35 people per square mile.

Examples of Rural ACO in a sentence

  • If the ACO is a Rural ACO, the ACO shall maintain an aligned population of at least 7,500 Next Generation Beneficiaries during each Performance Year.

  • Australian Corporations Act means the Corporations Xxx 0000 (Cth) of Australia.

  • Rural community ’ means any city having a population of fewer than 50,000 or except as otherwise provided, any unincorporated area. Unincorporated areas within any county having a population of more than 100,000 are not eligible; and

  • UK Financial Institutions means any BRRD Undertaking (as such term is defined under the PRA Rulebook (as amended from time to time) promulgated by the United Kingdom Prudential Regulation Authority) or any person falling within IFPRU 11.6 of the FCA Handbook (as amended from time to time) promulgated by the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority, which includes certain credit institutions and investment firms, and certain affiliates of such credit institutions or investment firms.

  • Australian Consumer Law means the Australian Consumer Law set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

  • Rural areas means any area within the county located outside the

  • National Housing Act means the National Housing Act (Canada), a federal law that promotes the construction of new houses and the repair and modernization of existing houses. CMHC provides mortgage default insurance under this law.

  • U.S. Department of Energy means the Department of Energy established by Public Law 95-91, August 4, 1977, 91 Stat. 565, 42 U.S.C. 7101 et seq., to the extent that the department exercises functions formerly vested in the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, its chairman, members, officers and components and transferred to the U.S. Energy Research and Development Administration and to the administrator thereof pursuant to Sections 104(b), (c) and (d) of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-438, October 11, 1974, 88 Stat. 1233 at 1237, effective January 19, 1975) and retransferred to the Secretary of Energy pursuant to Section 301(a) of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Public Law 95-91, August 4, 1977, 91 Stat. 565 at 577-578, 42 U.S.C. 7151,

  • USDOT means the United States Department of Transportation.

  • South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.

  • Nodal Ministry means the Ministry or Department identified pursuant to this order in respect of a particular item of goods or services or works.

  • Sanctions and Export Control Laws means any applicable Law related to (a) import and export controls, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations, (b) economic sanctions, including those administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of State, the European Union, any European Union Member State, the United Nations, and Her Majesty’s Treasury of the United Kingdom or (c) anti-boycott measures.

  • Control Act means the Casino Control Act 1984-1985;

  • Corporation/ Corpn./ Department means the Central Warehousing Corporation.
