Examples of Salary Guide in a sentence
Time served in any other position as a part-time support staff member, full or part-time faculty member, full or part-time professional staff member, or as a full-time support staff member in another unit position listed on the Salary Guide that is of a different classification series, will not count toward years of service for purposes of determining placement on the Salary Guide.
A listing of position classifications and the assigned salary grades referred to as the Support Staff Position Salary Guide is attached hereto as Appendix A and made a part of this Agreement.
To be credited with their first year of service on the Salary Guide, employees hired between October 1st and June 30th of any calendar year will be required to serve in a listed position until the second July 1st following the date of their initial employment.
New employees must have related work experience or formal education above the high school level or certification in a work related program in order to receive a salary exceeding five percent (5%) of Step 1 of the Salary Guide.
New employee salaries will be set based on qualifications and experience but will not exceed Step 2 of the Salary Guide without written approval of the Chancellor.
Employees who have worked ten (10) or more years in a listed position will receive, at a minimum, the mid-point salary listed in category three (3) of the Salary Guide.
The salaries listed in salary categories two (2), three (3), four (4) and five (5) apply only to employees with actual time served in their current listed position on the Salary Guide.
Employees who have worked fifteen (15) or more years in a listed position will receive, at a minimum, the salary identified in salary category four (4) of the Salary Guide.
Advancement on the Salary Guide shall be based upon the date of commencement of the leave of absence.
LEAD SECRETARY: Lead Secretary will be paid on the Secretary II Salary Guide when there are four (4) or more secretaries or clerks, exclusive of Lead Secretary, employed in a school main office.
