ScottishPower Supply Undertaking definition

ScottishPower Supply Undertaking shall have the meaning given to the phrase "Supply Undertaking" in the ScottishPower Transfer Scheme; "ScottishPower Transmission Undertaking" shall have the meaning given to the phrase "Transmission Undertaking" in the ScottishPower Transfer Scheme; "Scottish and Southern Energy Distribution Undertaking" shall have the meaning given to the phrase "Distribution Undertaking" in the Scottish and Southern Energy Transfer Scheme; "Scottish and Southern Energy Supply Undertaking" shall have the meaning given to the phrase "Supply Undertaking" in the Scottish and Southern Energy Transfer Scheme; "Scottish and Southern Energy Transmission Undertaking" shall have the meaning given to the phrase "Transmission Undertaking" in the Scottish and Southern Energy Transfer Scheme;

  • railway undertaking means any public or private undertaking licensed according to this Directive, the principal business of which is to provide services for the transport of goods and/or passengers by rail with a requirement that the undertaking ensure traction; this also includes undertakings which provide traction only;

  • investor of a Contracting Party means: (a) A natural person having the nationality of a Contracting Party in accordance with its applicable law; or (b) An enterprise constituted or organised under the applicable law of a Contracting Party; Making or having made an investment in the other Contracting Party's territory.

  • Letter of Undertaking means the letter of undertaking from, amongst others, the Issuer and its Managing Directors to the Initial Purchaser, Investment Manager and the Trustee.

  • Disclosure Undertaking means the Continuing Disclosure Undertaking, dated as of the Dated Date, relating to certain obligations contained in the SEC Rule.

  • statutory undertakers means persons authorised by any law to carry on any road transport, water transport, dock, harbour or pier undertakings or any undertaking for the supply of electricity, water, telephonic, telegraphic, sewerage or quarrying services and “statutory undertaking” has a corresponding meaning;

  • water supplier means the company supplying water in the water supply zone, whether a water undertaker or licensed water supplier;

  • GFR means General Financial Rules

  • statutory undertaker means a person who is or is deemed to be a statutory undertaker for the purposes of any provision of Part 11 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

  • Undertaking Letter The letter in substantially the form set forth in Exhibit C of the Trust Agreement.

  • Contractor/Supplier means the person or company whose tender is accepted by the Purchaser and shall be deemed to include the Contractor’s successors, heirs, executors, administrators, representatives and assigns approved by the Purchaser.

  • ancillary services undertaking means an undertaking the principal activity of which consists in owning or managing property, managing data-processing services, or any other similar activity which is ancillary to the principal activity of one or more credit institutions;

  • Services Contract means an agreement for the provision of Services entered into with a Provider by one or more of the Partners in accordance with the relevant Individual Scheme. Service Users means those individual for whom the Partners have a responsibility to commission the Services. SOSH means the Secretary of State for Health.

  • group of undertakings means a controlling undertaking and its controlled undertakings;

  • Project Management Agreement means the agreement dated the 20th February 1985 made between the Trustee and the Manager providing for the Manager to manage and co-ordinate the development and construction of the Resort and includes, if that agreement is terminated, any other agreement in like and similar terms made with the prior consent of the Minister;

  • licensed water supplier means a company which is the holder for the time being of a water supply licence under Section 17A(1) of the 1991 Act(f);
