Screening Technology definition

Screening Technology means, collectively, Screening Know-How and Screening Patents.
Screening Technology means Instruments, Hardware Units, Hardware Unit Software, Data Handling Software, LabChip HTS Assays, LabChip UHTS Assays, and LabChips for HTS or UHTS that Caliper offers for commercial sale to TAP participants.
Screening Technology shall have the meaning given in the first recital.

  • Under the ESP, BMS and Aurora will collaborate, using the Aurora Screening Technology, to develop high throughput and/or ultra high throughput screens for BMS' use in accordance with this Agreement and which will be manufactured by Aurora and delivered to BMS on *** selected by BMS (which targets must be reasonably acceptable to Aurora, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld).

  • Amgen covenants that it will not utilize Screening Technology for the purpose of screening for calcilytic compounds.

  • Except as otherwise provided herein, NPS shall retain all other rights in connection with the Screening Technology.

  • Otherwise, rights to purchase Caliper Screening Technology shall expire with the expiration of this Agreement.

  • Roche agrees that it will use all Screening Technology only for the purpose of screening in its and its Affiliate's in-house drug discovery programs.

  • HMR hereby acknowledges that it has no claim of ownership or rights to the SCRIPTGEN Screening Technology (including any improvements thereto) and, as between HMR and SCRIPTGEN, the SCRIPTGEN Screening Technology (including any improvements thereto) is owned solely by SCRIPTGEN and shall remain the exclusive property of SCRIPTGEN, and that no license or other rights therein or to the use thereof are hereby granted to HMR.

  • Should Caliper develop for Roche customized versions of Screening Technology or develop LabChip HTS Assays or LabChip UHTS Assays for pharmaceutical compounds selected by Roche, any screening data generated, or potential pharmaceutical compounds identified, as a result of a program under this Article shall be owned by Roche and shall not fall within the definition of LabChip Improvement Inventions or within Article 4.2.

  • Should the term of the TAP be extended, Roche shall pay no initiation or subscription fees or payments for access to Screening Technology offered under the TAP prior to the expiration or termination of this Agreement.

  • In addition, Scriptgen agrees not to file any future patent infringement actions against 3DP for 3DP's use of ThermoFluor Screening Technology that is consistent with the terms of this Agreement.

  • Neurocrine acknowledges that Caliper may use, or allow third parties to use, the Screening Technology and Caliper Compounds, to (i) pursue development of drugs that may compete with drugs Neurocrine is developing, or (ii) develop assays and screen the same and similar targets as those pursued by Neurocrine, in each case subject to Section 2.5(c) (Compound Libraries), Article 6 (Confidentiality) and the other terms of this Agreement.


More Definitions of Screening Technology

Screening Technology means pulse oximetry testing in the right hand and either foot. Screening technology shall also include alternate medically accepted tests that measure the percentage of blood oxygen saturation, follow medical guideline consensus and recommendations issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and are approved by the State Board of Health.
Screening Technology means the Instruments, LabChips, reagents and software, and associated Caliper Patents and Caliper Know-how, utilized by Caliper for high throughput screening activities under this Agreement, excluding Caliper Compounds.
Screening Technology means pulse oximetry testing in the right hand and either foot.
Screening Technology means any Intellectual Property Rights now or hereafter owned by SIDDCO, or licensed to SIDDCO by a third party related to research or development work for testing compounds for activity on a Drug Discovery Target(s).

Related to Screening Technology

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Program Technology means Program Know-How and Program Patents.

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents and the Licensor Know-How.

  • Screening Test Technician (STT) means anyone who instructs and assists individuals in the alcohol testing process and operates an ASD.

  • Collaboration Technology means all Collaboration Patents and Collaboration Know-How.
