Examples of Select Portfolio in a sentence

  • Client understands and acknowledges that Client should review the Baird Brochure before investing in an ALIGN UMA Select Portfolio.

  • If an ALIGN UMA Select Portfolio contains a Model- Traded Strategy, Client authorizes and directs the Overlay Manager to manage such SMA Strategy within Client’s Account with full discretionary authority in accordance with the SMA Strategy.

  • If Client selects an ALIGN UMA Select Portfolio, Client authorizes and directs Baird to manage Client’s Account with full discretionary authority in accordance with the ALIGN UMA Select Portfolio selected by Client.

  • Each ALIGN UMA Select Portfolio provides for specific levels of investment across different asset classes, such as equity securities, fixed income securities, Non-Traditional Assets, Alternative Investment Products and cash.

  • If an ALIGN UMA Select Portfolio contains a Model-Traded Strategy, the Overlay Manager will typically implement the Model Portfolio as proposed by the Model Provider.

  • Client also authorizes and directs Baird to appoint the Overlay Manager to serve as sub-adviser to Client’s Account and directs the Overlay Manager to manage Client’s Account in accordance with the ALIGN UMA Select Portfolio selected by Client and the terms of the ALIGN UMA Select Program as described in this Supplement and the Baird Brochure.

  • Investment Portfolio means invested assets (including cash and cash equivalents, short-term investments, bonds or other fixed income securities and equity investments).

  • Portfolio means any account, trust or other investment vehicle (except "Fund") over which the Firm has investment management discretion.

  • Proposed Portfolio The portfolio of Collateral Obligations and Eligible Investments resulting from the proposed purchase, sale, maturity or other disposition of a Collateral Obligation or a proposed reinvestment in an additional Collateral Obligation, as the case may be.

  • Discretionary Portfolio Management Services means the portfolio management services rendered to the Client by the Portfolio Manager on the terms and conditions contained in the agreement, where under the Portfolio Manager exercises any degree of discretion in the investments or management of assets of the Client.

  • Reference Portfolio means, the notional portfolio made up of each Reference Asset, as described in this Information Statement under “Reference Portfolio”.

  • Discretionary Portfolio Manager means a Portfolio Manager who exercises or may, under a contract relating to portfolio management, exercise any degree of discretion as to the investments or management of the portfolio of securities or the funds of the Client, as the case may be.
