Reference Portfolio definition

Reference Portfolio means, the notional portfolio made up of each Reference Asset, as described in this Information Statement under “Reference Portfolio”.

Reference Portfolio means the notional Reference Portfolio comprised of the Reference Assets, as described under “THE REFERENCE PORTFOLIO”.

• The return on the Deposits, unlike the return on many deposit liabilities of Canadian chartered banks, is uncertain in that if the Reference Portfolio does not generate a positive return, the Deposits will produce no return on your original investment.

• In relation to each Reference Obligation in the Reference Portfolio, each period from and including any date upon which a payment of interest is made on such Reference Obligation to but excluding the next such date; provided that (a) the initial Fixed Amount Payer Calculation Period shall commence on and include the Obligation Settlement Date for such Reference Obligation and (b) the final Fixed Amount Payer Calculation Period shall end on, but exclude, the related Obligation Termination Date.

• The Reference Portfolio Advisor is not allowed to select any additional securities, assets, exposures or contracts for inclusion in the notional Reference Portfolio apart from the ones that are part of the Investment Universes described below.

• Payment at maturity of your Deposits will be linked to the price performance of each Reference Asset included in the Reference Portfolio.

Reference Portfolio means, the notional portfolio made up of the Reference Shares, as described in this Information Statement under “Reference Portfolio”.

Reference Portfolio means the reference portfolio created and maintained by the Reference Portfolio Advisor in accordance with the Reference Portfolio Advisory Agreement. Reference Portfolio means a hypothetical portfolio of the Hypothetical Investor which contains both Fund Shares and the Money Market Investment in variable weightings. At the Index Start Date, the Reference Portfolio has a value equal to the Index Initial Value (expressed in Euro).
