Sensitive University Data definition

Sensitive University Data means data identified by University to Selected Firm/Vendor as Sensitive University Data and may include, but is not limited to: (1) PII; (2) credit card data; (3) financial or business data which has the potential to affect the accuracy of the University’s financial statements; (4) medical or health data; (5) sensitive or confidential business information; (6) trade secrets; (7) data which could create a security (including IT security) risk to the University; and (8) confidential student or employee information.

Examples of Sensitive University Data in a sentence

  • It is applicable only in those situations where the Selected Firm/Vendor provides goods or services under a Contract or Purchase Order which necessitate that the Selected Firm/Vendor create, obtain, transmit, use, maintain, process, store, or dispose of Sensitive University Data (as defined in the Definitions Section of this Addendum) as part of its work under the Contract.

  • This Addendum sets forth the terms and conditions pursuant to which Sensitive University Data will be protected by the Selected Firm/Vendor during the term of the Parties’ Contract and after its termination.

  • If Selected Firm/Vendor’s use of Sensitive University Data include the storing, processing or transmitting of credit card data for the University, Selected Firm/Vendor represents and warrants that for the life of the Contract and while Selected Firm/Vendor has possession of University customer cardholder data, the software and services used for processing transactions shall be compliant with standards established by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council (www.pcisecuritystandards.org).

  • Additionally, Selected Firm/Vendor warrants that all Sensitive University Data shall be Securely Destroyed, when destruction is requested by University.

  • In addition to the security requirements stated in the Contract, Selected Firm/Vendor warrants that all electronic Sensitive University Data will be encrypted in transmission (including via web interface) and stored at no less than 128- bit level encryption.

  • A CSP cannot use Confidential or Sensitive University Data without agreement by the University or in any way that violates the law or University policies. Specify that University Data be physically stored within the boundaries of the United States.

  • In addition to the security requirements stated in the Contract, Selected Firm/Vendor warrants that all electronic Sensitive University Data will be encrypted in transmission (including via web interface) and stored at no less than 128-bit level encryption.

  • Sensitive University Data is defined as documents or data whose loss, misuse, or unauthorized access can adversely affect the privacy or welfare of an individual or the University, including information protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (“FERPA”) and other regulations.

  • Any Highly Restricted information shared outside the University network requires a Sensitive University Data Export Request System (SUDERS) request approved by the Information Security Officer, Chief Information Officer, and the Custodian of Records to ensure adequate security controls are in place.

  • Use of the Norris dumpster to discard wood (from sets or platforms) is prohibited without the assistance of Norris Facilities personnel.

Related to Sensitive University Data

  • Contractor Sensitive Information means any information provided by the Contractor to the Authority (disregarding any protective marking or assertion of confidentiality) which: is specified as Contractor Sensitive Information in Schedule 7 and has not lost its sensitivity according to the justifications and durations set out in that Schedule; and is exempt information pursuant to sections 33(1) or 36, 38 or 39 of FOISA (having regard for that purpose to the public interest there might be in disclosing such information as referred to in section 2(1)(b) of FOISA).

  • Sensitive Data means information that is protected against unwarranted disclosure, to include Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI) or other private/confidential data, as specifically determined by the State. Sensitive Data includes information about an individual that (1) can be used to distinguish or trace an individual‘s identity, such as name, social security number, date and place of birth, mother‘s maiden name, or biometric records; (2) is linked or linkable to an individual, such as medical, educational, financial, and employment information; (3) falls within the definition of “personal information” under Md. Code Ann., Com. Law § 14-3501(d); or (4) falls within the definition of “personal information" under Md. Code Ann., State Govt. § 10-1301(c).

  • sensitive area means any of the following—

  • Sensitive Information means controlled unclassified information of a commercial, financial, proprietary, or privileged nature. The term includes technical data and computer software, but does not include information that is lawfully, publicly available without restriction.

  • Massive Multiauthor Collaboration Site (or “MMC Site”) means any World Wide Web server that publishes copyrightable works and also provides prominent facilities for anybody to edit those works. A public wiki that anybody can edit is an example of such a server. A “Massive Multiauthor Collaboration” (or “MMC”) contained in the site means any set of copyrightable works thus published on the MMC site.

  • Competitively Sensitive Information means non-public information and data specific to a utility customer which the utility acquired or developed in the course of its provision of utility services. This includes, without limitation, information about which customers have or have not chosen to opt out of community choice aggregation service. (See D.97-12-088, App. A, Part I.D.)

  • Contractor Commercially Sensitive Information means the information listed in the Contractor Commercial Sensitive Information Annex to the Contract being information notified by the Contractor to the Authority which is acknowledged by the Authority as being commercially sensitive information.

  • Commercially Sensitive Information means the Information (i) listed in the Commercially Sensitive Information Schedule; or (ii) notified to the Authority in writing (prior to the commencement of this Contract) which has been clearly marked as Commercially Sensitive Information comprised of information:

  • DXC Sensitive Information means DXC Confidential Information, Intellectual Property, PHI, DXC Customer data, and Personal Information.

  • High-technology activity means that term as defined in section 3 of the Michigan economic growth authority act, 1995 PA 24, MCL 207.803.

  • Confidential Materials means all tangible materials containing Confidential Information, including without limitation written or printed documents and computer disks or tapes, whether machine or user readable.

  • Contractor attributional/proprietary information means information that identifies the contractor(s), whether directly or indirectly, by the grouping of information that can be traced back to the contractor(s) (e.g., program description, facility locations), personally identifiable information, as well as trade secrets, commercial or financial information, or other commercially sensitive information that is not customarily shared outside of the company.

  • Confidential commercial information means records provided to the govern- ment by a submitter that arguably contain material exempt from release under Exemption 4 of the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552(b)(4), be- cause disclosure could reasonably be expected to cause substantial competi- tive harm.

  • Sensitive property means property potentially dangerous to the public safety or security if stolen, lost, or misplaced, or that shall be subject to exceptional physical security, protection, control, and accountability. Examples include weapons, ammunition, explosives, controlled substances, radioactive materials, hazardous materials or wastes, or precious metals.

  • Price Sensitive Information means any information which relates, directly or indirectly, to a company and which if published is likely to materially affect the price of securities of the company.

  • Confidential Material means all information, in any form or medium, known or used by City or an Affiliate of the City which is not known to the general public, including, but not limited to, the know-how, trade secrets, strategic plans, technical information, product information, supplier information, customer information, financial information, marketing information and information as to business opportunities, methods and strategies and research and development of the City and its Affiliates. If and to the extent any Confidential Material is included in any report, assessment, diagram, memorandum or other document or copied or reproduced in any other form or medium, such report, assessment, diagram, memorandum, document or Confidential Material in such other form or medium will be deemed to be Confidential Material.

  • Confidential Information has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.

  • Information Technology (IT means data processing, telecommunications, and office systems technologies and services:

  • Proprietary Information and Technology means any and all of the following: works of authorship, computer programs, source code and executable code, whether embodied in software, firmware or otherwise, assemblers, applets, compilers, user interfaces, application programming interfaces, protocols, architectures, documentation, annotations, comments, designs, files, records, schematics, test methodologies, test vectors, emulation and simulation tools and reports, hardware development tools, models, tooling, prototypes, breadboards and other devices, data, data structures, databases, data compilations and collections, inventions (whether or not patentable), invention disclosures, discoveries, improvements, technology, proprietary and confidential ideas and information, know-how and information maintained as trade secrets, tools, concepts, techniques, methods, processes, formulae, patterns, algorithms and specifications, customer lists and supplier lists and any and all instantiations or embodiments of the foregoing or any Intellectual Property Rights in any form and embodied in any media.

  • Research Data means documents in a digital form, other than scientific publications, which are collected or produced in the course of scientific research activities and are used as evidence in the research process, or are commonly accepted in the research community as necessary to validate research findings and results;

  • Contractor's Confidential Information means any information, however it is conveyed, that relates to the business affairs, developments, trade secrets, know-how, Contractor’s Personnel and suppliers of the Contractor, including IPRs, together with all information derived from the above, and any other information clearly designated as being confidential (whether or not it is marked as "confidential") or which ought reasonably to be considered to be confidential, including the Commercially Sensitive Information.

  • Sensitive Personal Information or “SPI” means the information categories listed at Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.002(2).

  • Proprietary Information shall have the same meaning as Confidential Information.

  • Regulatory Information Service means a service approved by the London Stock Exchange for the distribution to the public of announcements; and

  • Controlled technical information means technical information with military or space application that is subject to controls on the access, use, reproduction, modification, performance, display, release, disclosure, or dissemination. Controlled technical information would meet the criteria, if disseminated, for distribution statements B through F using the criteria set forth in DoD Instruction 5230.24, Distribution Statements on Technical Documents. The term does not include information that is lawfully publicly available without restrictions.

  • Research Materials means all tangible materials other than Subject Data first produced in the performance of this CRADA.
