Intermediary means “a person who actively participates in the facilitation of the contract or negotiating the contract, including a broker, adviser, attorney, or representative of or agent for the business entity who:
insurance intermediary means any natural or legal person, other than an insurance or reinsurance undertaking or their employees and other than an ancillary insurance intermediary, who, for remuneration, takes up or pursues the activity of insurance distribution;
Reinsurance intermediary means a reinsurance intermediary-broker or a reinsurance intermediary-manager.
Fiscal Intermediary means any qualified insurance company or other Person that has entered into an ongoing relationship with any Governmental Authority to make payments to payees under Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal, state or local public health care or medical assistance program pursuant to any of the Health Care Laws.
Financial Intermediary means a financial intermediary as that term is defined in Rule 22c-2.
Intermediary bank means a bank to which an item is transferred in course of collection except the depositary or payor bank.
Commodity intermediary means a person that:
Service Interruption means, in relation to the supply of electricity to an ICP the cessation of supply to that ICP for a period exceeding the time allowed for interruptions in the relevant Service Standard, other than in accordance with this agreement;
Service in the uniformed services means the performance of duty on a voluntary or involuntary basis in a uniformed service under competent authority and includes active duty, active duty for training, initial active duty for training, inactive duty training, full-time national guard duty including state-ordered active duty, and a period for which a person is absent from a position of employment for the purpose of an examination to determine the fitness of the person to perform any such duty.
Securities Intermediary The meaning specified in Section 8-102(a)(14) of the UCC.
Personal care services means both physical assis- tance and/or prompting and supervising the performance of direct personal care tasks as determined by the resident's needs and does not include assistance with tasks performed by a licensed health professional.
Financial Services Provider means any Lender and any other provider of financial services or products;
Planned Service Interruption means a Service Interruption that has been scheduled to occur in accordance with Schedule 5;
Personal services contract means a contract that, by its express terms or as administered, makes the contractor per- sonnel appear to be, in effect, Government employees (see 37.104).
Service Transfer means any transfer of the Services (or any part of the Services), for whatever reason, from the Supplier or any Sub-Contractor to a Replacement Supplier or a Replacement Sub-Contractor;
Service Transfer Date means the date of a Service Transfer;
Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.
Multiphase professional services contract means a contract for the providing of professional
Banking Services Provider means any Lender or Affiliate of a Lender that provides Banking Services to any Credit Party.
Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.
