Shift Hours definition

Shift Hours. Shift hours are:
Shift Hours in respect of nurses working the nursing roster cycle are: Day Shift 6.45 am to 3.30 pm; P.M. Shift 3.15 pm to 11.15 pm; Night Shift 11.00 pm to 7.00 am.
Shift Hours means twelve (12) hours shifts worked on average of 42 hours weekly, paid as per appendix (c). Employees will receive a minimum Ten (10) hour break between shifts.

Examples of Shift Hours in a sentence

  • Accrual: Illness leave accrual and accumulation will be as follows: Shift Hours Per Pay Period Accumulation Maximum 8 Hour 5.85 1044 An employee shall not be credited with any illness leave in a particular pay period unless that employee has been in a pay status for eighty percent (80%) or more of the hours in that pay period.

  • Shift Hours applies except for 7.1 and its sub-parts (Workweek / schedules).

  • Shift Hours: Contractor shall coordinate shifts as either 5 shifts of 8 hours or 4 shifts of 10 hours as necessary to complete work.

  • Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. It is understood however that the requirement to report for duty, in uniform and ready to work, at the commencement of shift shall continue.

  • Working Hours / Shift Hours: The normal working hours of the Company are from 9:30 AM- 6:30 PM from Monday to Friday including lunch break and tea breaks.

  • Shift Hours Shift hours will be determined by the Employer, and each shift will consist of up to eight (8) consecutive hours excluding a thirty-minute (30) unpaid lunch period.

Related to Shift Hours

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.

  • Working Hours means 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in the relevant location on a Business Day.

  • Regular Hours means the hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, excluding the following holidays: Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

  • Observation Shift Days means the number of London Banking Days specified in the relevant Final Terms; and

  • Training hour means at least 50 minutes of actual learning, including, but not limited to, time devoted to lecture, learning activities, small group activities, demonstrations, evaluations, and hands-on experience.
