Shopping List definition

Shopping List means a request to Procurement for sourcing using a system generated form or RFQ form with vendor noted as “unknown”. Shopping lists are required at a minimum to be numbered uniquely, contain a generic description of the item being ordered along with relevant specifications, the quantity, unit of measure, delivery date preferred, ship to address, name of division, contact person, and GL account number. The shopping list shall be forwarded back to the requestor with suggested vendors or where requested, the Procurement Staff will complete the remaining steps in the RFQ process for the purchasing contact and advise the requestor the results.
