Japanese person means any person resident in Japan, including any corporation or other entity organized under the laws of Japan;
Canadian Person means any person who is a national or resident of Canada, any corporation, partnership, or other entity created or organized in or under the laws of Canada or of any political subdivision thereof, or any estate or trust the income of which is subject to Canadian Federal income taxation, regardless of its source (other than any non-Canadian branch of any Canadian Person), and shall include any Canadian branch of a person other than a Canadian Person.
corporate person means a company as defined in clause (20) of section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), a limited liability partnership, as defined in clause (n) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (6 of 2009), or any other person incorporated with limited liability under any law for the time being in force but shall not include any financial service provider;
Foreign Official means any officer or employee of a non-U.S. government or any department, agency, or instrumentality thereof, or of a public international organization, or any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of any such government or department, agency, or instrumentality, or for or on behalf of any such public international organization.
Other Person means a person who is not a council member or an employee.
young person means a person who falls within the definition of qualifying young person in section 142 of the SSCBA.
foreign representative means a person or body, including one appointed on an interim basis, authorized in a foreign proceeding to administer the reorganization or the liquidation of the debtor’s assets or affairs or to act as a representative of the foreign proceeding;
Defendant/Person Under Supervision means any pretrial releasee, probationer, parolee, mandatory releasee, mandatory parolee, or supervised releasee receiving drug/alcohol testing and/or substance use assessment/treatment, mental health assessment/evaluation/treatment, and or sex offense specific evaluation/treatment/testing while under the supervision of the Federal Probation or Pretrial Services Office. Hereinafter, the term defendant applies to those on pretrial supervision, whereas person under supervision applies to those on post- conviction supervision.
Ineligible Person shall include an individual or entity who:
i. is currently excluded, debarred, suspended, or otherwise ineligible to participate in the Federal health care programs or in Federal procurement or nonprocurement programs; or
ii. has been convicted of a criminal offense that falls within the scope of 42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7(a), but has not yet been excluded, debarred, suspended, or otherwise declared ineligible.
Domestic Person means any “United States person” under and as defined in Section 770l(a)(30) of the Code.
domestic politically exposed person means a natural person who is or has been entrusted domestically with prominent public functions;
authorised person means the Client or any person (including any individual or entity) authorised by the Client to act on its behalf in the performance of any act, discretion or duty under this Agreement (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any officer or employee of such person) in a notice reasonably acceptable to the Custodian.
Ordinarily Resident in Ireland means “Ordinarily Resident in Ireland” as defined in
Authorised Participant means the Initial Authorised Participant, the Second Authorised Participant and any Additional Authorised Participant.
Related Body Corporate has the meaning given in the Corporations Act.
Reasonable person means a reasonable person under similar circumstances and with similar identities to the victim.
Eligible Authorised Participant means any entity that meets the requirements of the LS Operating Procedures Agreement.
authorised employee means a municipal employee who is authorised in terms of delegated or sub-delegated authority by the Municipality to exercise a power or perform a duty in terms of this By-law or to inspect land and buildings in order to enforce compliance with this By-law or the zoning scheme;
Alternate Director means a person elected or appointed to serve, as the occasion requires, as a member of the board of a company in substitution for a particular elected or appointed director of that company;
recognised person means a recognised clearing house or a nominee of a recognised clearing house or of a recognised investment exchange;
Ex Officio Member means a nonvoting member of the commission.
Board Chair means the chair of the Board;
Minority person means a person who is a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States and who is any of the following:
casual taxable person means a person who occasionally undertakes transactions involving supply of goods or services or both in the course or furtherance of business, whether as principal, agent or in any other capacity, in the taxable territory where he has no fixed place of business;
Handyperson means a person who is not a tradesperson and whose duties include the performance of routine repair work and maintenance in and about the employer’s premises.
politically exposed person means any individuals connected to any prominent public functions, as well as their immediate family members and close associates.
