Social service intermediary definition

Social service intermediary means a nonprofit organization exempt from federal income taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the "Internal Revenue Code of 1986," as amended, or a wholly-owned subsidiary of a nonprofit organization, that delivers or contracts for the delivery of social services, raises capital to finance the delivery of social services, and provides ongoing project management and investor relations for these activities.
