Solid Fuel Burner definition

Solid Fuel Burner means a small-scale solid fuel burning appliance, where combustion of the solid fuel occurs within a firebox, and where there may be a regulated supply of air to the fire. It includes (but is not limited to) indoor open fires, freestanding or built in woodburners, pellet burners, potbelly stoves and coal ranges, chip heaters, water heaters or central heating units, multi-fuel burners, and similar appliances. It excludes small-scale domestic devices for smoking food, any portable unflued heaters fueled by gas, alcohol or other liquid fuels, gas hobs or gas ranges used for cooking, and any fuel burning appliance installed in a boat, caravan or motor home.

  • Solid Fuel means wood, coal, and other similar organic material or combination of these materials.

  • Solid film lubricant means a very thin coating consisting of a binder system containing as its chief pigment material one or more of molybdenum disulfide, graphite, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or other solids that act as a dry lubricant between faying surfaces.

  • Gas means any mixture of hydrocarbons and noncombustible gases in a gaseous state consisting primarily of methane.

  • Solid Waste Disposal Facility means any facility involved in the disposal of solid waste, as defined in NCGS 130A-290(a)(35).

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per

  • Gas Transporter means the licensed operator of the transportation network through which gas is transported to you;

  • Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;

  • Solid waste facility means a site, location, tract of land, installation, or building used for incineration, composting, sanitary landfilling, or other methods of disposal of solid wastes or, if the solid wastes consist of scrap tires, for collection, storage, or processing of the solid wastes; or for the transfer of solid wastes.

  • Oil means petroleum in any form including crude oil, fuel oil, sludge, oil refuse and refined products (other than petrochemicals which are subject to the provisions of Annex II of the present Convention) and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, includes the substances listed in Appendix I to this Annex.

  • Solid waste means all solid waste, including construction debris, hazardous waste, excess cement/ concrete, wrapping materials, timber, cans, drums, wire, nails, food and domestic waste (e.g. plastic packets and wrappers);

  • Fossil fuel-fired means, with regard to a unit:

  • Pipeline means any pipe, pipes, or pipelines used for the intrastate transportation or transmission of any solid, liquid, or gaseous substance, except water.

  • Solid Waste Disposal Site means, as defined in NCGS 130A-290(a)(36), any place at which solid wastes are disposed of by incineration, sanitary landfill, or any other method.

  • Aviation gasoline means fuel designed for use in the operation of aircraft other than jet aircraft,

  • Fuel Gas means Gas used as fuel for the operation of the Transportation System.

  • Fossil fuel means natural gas, petroleum, coal, or any form of solid, liquid, or gaseous fuel derived from such material.

  • Renewable fuel means a fuel that is derived from Eligible Energy Resources. This term does not include a fossil fuel or a waste product from a fossil fuel source.

  • Economy Transportation means the lowest published available transportation rate for a ticket on a Common Carrier matching the original class of transportation that You purchased for Your Trip.

  • Ocean transportation means any transportation aboard a ship, vessel, boat, barge, or ferry through international waters.

  • Greenhouse gases (GHGs) means the aggregate group of six greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, and sulfur hexafluoride.

  • Liquefied petroleum gas means a mixture of light hydrocarbons (predominantly propane, butane) that is gaseous under conditions of ambient temperature and pressure and that is maintained in a liquid state by an increase of pressure or lowering of temperature;

  • Dyed diesel fuel means diesel fuel that meets the dyeing and marking requirements of 26 U.S.C.

  • Liquid waste means any waste material that is determined to contain "free liquids" as defined by Method 9095 (Paint Filter Liquids Test), as described in "Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Wastes, Physical/Chemical Methods" (EPA Pub. No. SW-846).

  • Greenhouse Gas Emissions means emissions in terms of tonnes of CO2 equivalent of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorcarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) determined pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 525/2013 and falling within the scope of this Regulation;

  • air transport means the carriage by aircraft of passengers, baggage, cargo, and mail, separately or in combination, held out to the public for remuneration or hire, including scheduled and non-scheduled air services;

  • Compressed natural gas means a mixture of hydrocarbon gases and vapors that consists primarily of methane in gaseous form that has been compressed for use as a fuel to propel a motor vehicle.
