Special Convention definition

Special Convention means any Convention of the Diocese, other than the Annual Convention.
Special Convention. (Congrès extraordinaire) means a Special Convention of the Union of Taxation Employees.
Special Convention means a Convention that is not an Annual Convention and is called by Council in accordance with Article 8.03.

Examples of Special Convention in a sentence

  • Written notice of the Special Convention setting forth the time, place and purpose thereof, shall be provided to each club in the District by the District Cabinet Secretary, no less than 30 days prior to the convening date of the Special Convention.

  • When a Special Convention has been ordered, the Executive Board shall issue the Convention call in both official languages at the time specified in the order, or within 30 days if no time has been specified.

  • A Special Convention of the clubs of the Multiple District may be called by a two-thirds vote of the Council of Governors at such time and place as they shall determine; provided that such Special Convention shall conclude no less than 15 days prior to the convening date of the International Convention.

  • Delegates at a Convention or Special Convention may amend this Constitution by a two thirds vote cast on a per capita basis.

  • The President must act in conformity with the Constitution, and the actions of Convention or Special Convention, and National Executive Board and Canadian Council.
