Specialty Program definition

Specialty Program means a program offered by a Level II psychiatric residential treatment facility to treat a person who has a severe emotional disability as defined by KRS 200.503 in addition to severe and persistent aggressive behaviors, intellectual disability, sexually acting out behaviors, or developmental disability.

  • Enrollees currently using, and physicians currently prescribing drugs that will be included in the Specialty Program will be notified in writing at least 30 days in advance of the implementation date.

  • Beyond the initial fill(s) described in (3) above, enrollees must contact the Specialty Referral Line, accessible through the NYSHIP toll-free telephone line, prior to obtaining a drug included in the Specialty Program, in order to receive the maximum available benefit.

  • Medications in the Specialty Program may only be obtained through contracted retail pharmacies store or through the PBM’s home delivery service.

  • If this Pooling Agreement is terminated pursuant to this Article XIII, all rights and obligations of the Participating Companies with respect to Specialty Program Business ceded pursuant to this Pooling Agreement prior to such termination shall continue to be governed by the terms of this Pooling Agreement.

  • However, in the event that regulatory authorities do not approve an intercompany transaction containing these ceding commissions, the pariticipating companies shall use their best good faith effort to structure the transaction for the Participating Companies in order that the sum of the Net Loss Ratio plus ceding commission percentage equals 93% for the Specialty Program Business and Insurance Risk Sharing Business.

Spouse means a person of the same or opposite sex who is legally married to Subscriber under the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which the marriage took place. A marriage legally entered into in another jurisdiction will be recognized as a marriage in the District of Columbia.

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.
