Specified Perils definition

Specified Perils. Subject to the exclusions and conditions in this policy, Specified Perils mean:
Specified Perils means aircraft; civil commotion; explosion; falling objects; fire; hail; leakage from fire extinguishing equipment; lightning; riot; "sinkhole collapse"; smoke; sonic boom; vandalism; vehicles; "volcanic action"; water damage; weight of ice, snow, or sleet; and windstorm.

Examples of Specified Perils in a sentence

  • These are insured only for Specified Perils and theft or attempted theft.

  • It is a condition precedent to coverage under this endorsement for All Perils, Collision, Comprehensive and Specified Perils that the same coverage be “in force”* at the time of loss on the Rideshare Vehicle Owner’s Ontario Automobile Policy (OAP 1) or Ontario Garage Automobile Policy (OAP 4) insuring the automobile.

  • If a described automobile is stolen, and you are protected by the All Perils, Comprehensive, or Specified Perils options, we will pay reasonable expenses for the rental of a similar substitute automobile.
