State health care programs definition

State health care programs means any health care program providing immunizations with funds available through State and federal sources.
State health care programs shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5Z(iii)(d).

Examples of State health care programs in a sentence

  • Has been convicted of a criminal offense related to the provision of health care items or services and has not been reinstated in the Federal and State health care programs after a period of exclusion, suspension, debarment, or ineligibility.

  • DBH has established an Office of Compliance for purposes of ensuring adherence to all standards, rules and regulations related to the provision of services and expenditure of funds in Federal and State health care programs.

  • Contractor shall provide County or State information as requested by the Director regarding the participation, debarment or exclusion status for Federal or State health care programs of Contractor or any individual or entity listed in section C above.

Related to State health care programs

  • Federal Health Care Program means any plan or program that provides health care benefits, whether directly, through insurance, or otherwise, that is funded directly, in whole or in part, by the government of the United States of America (other than the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program), including the Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE programs (described in Title XVIII of the SSA, Title XIX of the SSA, and Title 10, Chapter 55 of the U.S.C., respectively), or any state health care program (as defined in Section 1128(h) of the SSA).

  • Health care plan means any contract, policy or other arrangement for benefits or services for medical or dental care or treatment under:

  • Health care practitioner means an individual or firm licensed or certified to engage actively in a regulated health profession.

  • Licensed health care practitioner means a physician, as defined in Section 1861(r)(1) of the Social Security Act, a registered professional nurse, licensed social worker or other individual who meets requirements prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury.
