Statement of Evaluation definition

Statement of Evaluation means the statement issued to a teacher by the Qualifications Evaluation Council of Ontario affirming that it has certified the teacher’s qualifications and has placed the teacher in a category in accordance with Programme 4 or 5 of the Qualifications Evaluation Council of Ontario.

Examples of Statement of Evaluation in a sentence

  • The teacher will be responsible for any associated cost in obtaining this Statement of Evaluation.

  • L9.09.03 Each elementary school Teacher shall obtain a Statement of Evaluation under a Qualifications Evaluation Council of Ontario (QECO) Programme and submit this to the Human Resources Department.

  • A Long Term Occasional Teacher who holds Ministry of Education of Ontario Certification or equivalent but, who holds a degree recognized in Ontario and who does not hold a QECO Statement of Evaluation shall be paid according to Category A1 of the above mentioned Collective Agreement.

  • A Teacher who has completed the requirements for a higher Statement of Evaluation after September 1st, is entitled to an adjustment in salary retroactive to January 1st provided a Statement of Evaluation or a “notice of expected change” along with an explanation of the delay from Q.E.C.O. is submitted to the Board by June 30th.

  • Payment will not begin until the Statement of Evaluation from Q.E.C.O. has been received.

  • B.1.1 A teacher shall be paid in the category determined by the Statement of Evaluation.

  • Where by the 30th of June the teacher has filed with the Board documentary evidence (Q.E.C.O. Statement of Evaluation) that the requirements for a higher rating category were completed by the previous 31st of December, the teacher shall be paid retroactively to the 1st of January at the higher salary category.

  • The Local Teacher Bargaining Unit recognizes the right of the Board to require the submission of all documents by the teacher, which form the basis upon which the Qualifications Evaluation Council of Ontario granted the Q.E.C.O. Statement of Evaluation.
