Michigan strategic fund means the Michigan strategic fund as described in the Michigan strategic fund act, 1984 PA 270, MCL 125.2001 to 125.2094.
Strategic Partner means (i) a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company with book equity of at least U.S. $200,000,000, (ii) a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company with sales of at least U.S. $150,000,000, or (iii) a publicly traded, or division or subdivision of a publicly traded, pharmaceutical or biotechnology company with market capitalization in excess of U.S. $200,000,000.
Private Fund means an issuer that would be an investment company as defined in section 3 of the Investment Company Act of 1940 but for Section 3(c)(1) or 3(c)(7) of that Act.
Planned unit development means a subdivision characterized by a unified site design, clustered residential units and/or commercial units, and areas of common open space.
Public fund means the state treasurer or a retirement system.
Enterprise Fund means the enterprise fund of the Recipient in which Revenues are deposited.
Revenue Fund means the fund so designated in, and created pursuant to, Section 502 hereof.
Venture capital fund means a private fund that meets the definition of a venture capital fund in SEC Rule 203(l)-1, 17 C.F.R. § 275.203(l)-1.
spatial development framework means the Mhlontlo Municipal Spatial Development Framework prepared and adopted in terms of sections 20 and 21 of the Act and Chapter 2 of this By-Law;
Strategic Investor means a Corporation, partnership or other entity engaged in one or more Telecommunications Businesses that has, or 80% or more of the Voting Stock of which is owned by a Person that has, an equity market capitalization, at the time of its initial Investment in the Company or in a Permitted Joint Venture with the Company, in excess of $2 billion.
Unit Capital means the aggregate of the face value of units issued under the scheme and outstanding for the time being.
Sub-Fund means a segregated pool of assets and liabilities into which the Trust Fund is divided, established under the Trust Deed and the relevant supplemental deed as a separate trust as described in the relevant Appendix.
Generation Unit means a facility that converts a fuel or an energy resource into electrical energy.
Common interest development means any of the following:
Acquisition Fund means any company formed with the intent to offer securities to the public and use the proceeds to consummate one or more Business Combinations which are unspecified at the time of the securities offering.
Individual development account means a contract between an account holder and a fiduciary organization, for the deposit of funds into a financial institution by the account holder, and the deposit of matching funds into the financial institution by the fiduciary organization, to allow the account holder to accumulate assets for use toward achieving a specific purpose approved by the fiduciary organization.
Initial Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2(b).
Project Implementation Unit or “PIU” means the unit referred to in Section I.A.1 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement.
Project Management Unit and “PMU” each means the Recipient’s unit responsible for the implementation of its Respective Part of the Project referred to in Section I.A.2 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement.
Advisory Group means the environmental flows
Activity funds means all funds received by school officials
municipal spatial development framework means a municipal spatial development framework adopted by the Municipality in terms of Chapter 5 of the Municipal Systems Act;
Crisis stabilization unit means a short-term facility or a
Investment Advisory Services means (a) advice with respect to the desirability of investing in, purchasing or selling securities or other property, including the power to determine what securities or other property shall be purchased or sold, but not including furnishing only statistical and other factual information (such as economic factors and trends); and (b) the provision of financial, economic or investment management services, but only if ancillary and related to the advice referred to in clause (a) above.
Managing General Partner means the managing general partner of the Merging Entity where such Merging Entity is a limited partnership.
Fund means any Person (other than a natural person) that is (or will be) engaged in making, purchasing, holding or otherwise investing in commercial loans and similar extensions of credit in the ordinary course of its business.
