Sureties definition

Sureties has the meaning set forth in Section 12.3(b).
Sureties means Aspen and USSIC.
Sureties mean the person, firm, or corporation that executes as surety Design Build Entity’s Performance Bond and Payment Bond and must be a California admitted surety insurer as defined in the Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120.

Examples of Sureties in a sentence

  • Only those sureties listed in the Department of Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties (Department Circular 570) are acceptable to the Owner.

  • The issuing surety must be authorized to do business in the State of Texas and must be listed on the Department of the Treasury's Listing of Approved Sureties (Department Circular 570).

  • The Contractor shall provide Insurance and Sureties in accordance with relevant Clauses in the Conditions of Contract.

More Definitions of Sureties

Sureties means, collectively, Northbridge General Insurance Corporation, Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company, Trisura Insurance Company and any other issuer of surety or performance bonds to be provided to the EPA and referred to in paragraph (iv) of the definition of Permitted Indebtedness, and “Surety” means any one of them.
Sureties shall refer to the persons (other than the Borrower or the Bank) who have agreed to provide or are providing Securities to the Bank for the banking facilities, and/or the performance of any obligation under any banking facility or Facility Document and shall include, without limitation, a mortgagor of immovable property, a chargor of assets, an assignor of rights title and interests and a guarantor and shall include the personal representatives or successors (as the case may be) of the Sureties and “Surety” means any one of them;
Sureties has the meaning given to that term in the Sureties TSA.
Sureties shall respectively mean any one or more of any Guarantor or other co-obligor, indemnitor, guarantor, pledgor or surety of or other Person providing Credit Support for any of the Obligations or any Surety's Obligations, whether or not disclosed to the Borrower or any other Surety.
Sureties shall respectively mean any one or more of: (i) Guarantor; (ii) Pledgor; and (iii) any other co-obligor, indemnitor, guarantor, pledgor or surety of, or any other Person providing any guaranty, pledge, mortgage or other credit support for, any of Pledgor’s Obligations or any Surety's Obligations; in each case whether or not disclosed to Pledgor or any other Surety.
Sureties shall have the meaning assigned to such term in subsection (k) of the definition of Properties.
Sureties means AIG Europe Limited, Euler Hermes Europe SA (NV), HCC International Insurance Company plc, Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe PLC, Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of Europe Limited and Zurich GSG Limited;
