SWIFT Message definition

SWIFT Message means a message type (MT) message or file sent or appearing to have been sent using the SWIFT Messaging Services, which for this purposes of these EB Services Terms and Conditions comprise of such message formats which we may from time to time agree with you;
SWIFT Message means electronic communications (which may contain Instructions) sent using the messaging services provided by the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication SCRL
SWIFT Message means an electronic communication sent using the SWIFT Messaging Services.

More Definitions of SWIFT Message

SWIFT Message means an electronic communication sent or appearing to have been sent using the SWIFT Messaging Services;
SWIFT Message means a secure and standardised payment message sent electronically by one financial institution to another through the Society for Worldwide Inter-bank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) network.

Related to SWIFT Message

  • data message means information generated, sent, received or stored by electronic, optical or similar means including, but not limited to, electronic data interchange (EDI), electronic mail, telegram, telex or telecopy;

  • Text messaging means reading from or entering data into any handheld or other electronic device, including for the purpose of short message service texting, e-mailing, instant messaging, obtaining navigational information, or engaging in any other form of electronic data retrieval or electronic data communication. The term does not include glancing at or listening to a navigational device that is secured in a commercially designed holder affixed to the vehicle, provided that the destination and route are programmed into the device either before driving or while stopped in a location off the roadway where it is safe and legal to park.

  • Exchange Message Interface or "EMI" means the format used for exchange of Telecommunications message information among Telecommunications Carriers. It is referenced in the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) document that defines industry guidelines for the exchange of message records.

  • Central Automatic Message Accounting (CAMA) Trunk means a trunk that uses Multi-Frequency (MF) signaling to transmit calls from CLEC’s switch to an AT&T-21STATE E911 Selective Router.

  • the text message voting system means such text messaging voting facility as may be provided by the returning officer for the purpose of enabling voters to cast their votes by text message;

For the convenience of the parties, electronic media means (1) Electronic storage material on which data is or may be recorded electronically, including, for example, devices in computers (hard drives) and any removable/transportable digital memory medium, such as magnetic tape or disk, optical disk, or digital memory card; (2) Transmission media used to exchange information already in electronic storage media. Transmission media include, for example, the Internet, extranet or intranet, leased lines, dial-up lines, private networks, and the physical movement of removable/transportable electronic storage media. Certain transmissions, including of paper, via facsimile, and of voice, via telephone, are not considered to be transmissions via electronic media if the information being exchanged did not exist in electronic form immediately before the transmission.

  • Automated Message Accounting (AMA) is a structure inherent in switch technology that initially records Telecommunication message information. AMA format is contained in the Automated Message Accounting document published by Telcordia (formerly known as Bellcore) as GR-1100-CORE, which defines and amends the industry standard for message recording.

  • electronic meeting means a general meeting held and conducted wholly and exclusively by virtual attendance and participation by shareholders and/or proxies by means of electronic facilities;
