TANF definition

TANF means Temporary Assistance to Needy Families as defined in Part A (commencing with Section 601) of Subchapter 4 of Chapter 7 of Title 42 of the United States Code.

  • For the TANF and CCDF grants, supplemental funding requests (estimates) may be submitted by a State, for consideration by ACF, up through and including the 15th day of the third month of the first, second or third quarter of any fiscal year.
