Tariff Elimination. Article 8A: Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 8, the parties shall facilitate the establishment of China-Pakistan Investment Zones including the Haier-Ruba Economic Zone.   • Any decision of the Trade Committee to accelerate or broaden the scope of the customs duty elimination in accordance with Article 13 subparagraph 2(g), shall supersede any duty rate or staging category determined pursuant to Annex I (Tariff Elimination Schedules).

  • Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, no Party may increase any customs duty set as base rate in Annex I (Tariff Elimination Schedules) or adopt any new customs duty on a good originating in another Party.
