Taxicab service definition

Taxicab service means passenger transportation in a taxicab on a call-and-demand basis, with the first passenger therein having exclusive use of the taxicab unless such passenger agrees to multiple loading.
Taxicab service means passenger transportation service originating in the District in which the passenger directs the points between which the service is to be provided, the service is provided at a time chosen by the passenger, and the fare and fees for which are prescribed by the Commission.

Taxicab service means the operation of any Taxicab upon any street, highway, or other place open to use by the public for the purpose of vehicular travel, on call or on demand, accepting or soliciting passengers indiscriminately for transportation for hire between such points along streets or highways as may be directed by the passenger or passengers so being transported.
