TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND CABLE LAWS definition

TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND CABLE LAWS means all laws, statutes, regulations and judgments relating to telecommunications, cable television and data services applicable to any member of the Restricted Group and/or the business carried on by any member of the Restricted Group in any Relevant Jurisdiction;
TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND CABLE LAWS means the Telecommunications Xxx 0000, the Cable and Xxxxxxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, the Broadcasting Xxx 0000 all as amended from time to time and all other laws, statutes, regulations and judgments relating to telecommunications or cable television applicable to any member of the TCN Group, and/or the business carried on by, any member of the TCN Group (for the avoidance of doubt, not including laws, statutes, regulations or judgments relating solely to consumer credit, data protection or intellectual property)”;
TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND CABLE LAWS. (i) in relation to members of the Financial Group incorporated and/or doing business in Germany, the Telecommunication Act (Telekommunikationsgesetz), the approval rules for reception installations (Genehmigungsrechtliche Regelung fur Rundfunksempfangsanlagen) and all other federal and state laws, statutes, regulations and judgments relating to the building, installation, management or operation of systems for telecommunications or cable television applicable to any member of the Financial Group and/or business carried on by any member of the Financial Group;

Related to TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND CABLE LAWS

  • telecommunications network means any wire, radio, optical, or other electromagnetic system used to route, switch, or transmit telecommunications;

  • public telecommunications network means the public telecommunications infrastructure which enables signals to be conveyed between defined network termination points by wire, by microwave, by optical means or by other electromagnetic means;

  • Telecommunications means the transmission, between or among points specified by the user, of information of the user's choosing, without change in the form or content of the information as sent and received.

  • Telecommunications Assets means all assets, rights (contractual or otherwise) and properties, whether tangible or intangible, used or intended for use in connection with a Telecommunications Business.

  • Telecommunications Carrier is As Defined in the Act.

  • Telecommunications company means a person engaged in the furnishing of telecommunications service within this state.

  • Telecommunications systems means voice, record, and data communications, including management information systems and local data networks that connect to external transmission media, when employed by Government agencies, contractors, and subcontractors to transmit—

  • Telecommunications System means a system for conveying visual images, sounds or other information by electronic means;

  • Telecommunications provider means that term as defined in section 102 of the Michigan telecommunications act, 1991 PA 179, MCL 484.2102.

  • Telecommunications Business means the business of (i) transmitting, or providing services relating to the transmission of, voice, video or data through owned or leased transmission facilities, (ii) creating, developing or marketing communications related network equipment, software and other devices for use in a Telecommunications Business or (iii) evaluating, participating or pursuing any other activity or opportunity that is primarily related to those identified in (i) or (ii) above; provided that the determination of what constitutes a Telecommunications Business shall be made in good faith by the Board of Directors of the Guarantor.

  • Telecommunications Act means the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and any rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.

  • Telecommunications Facility means the machine, equipment, transmission path or other electrical facilities for telecommunication.

  • Telecommunications facilities means apparatus necessary or useful in the production, distribution,

  • Telecommunications Services means the offering of Telecommunications for a fee directly to the public, or to such classes of users as to be effectively available directly to the public, regardless of the facilities used.

  • Mobile telecommunications service means the same as that term is defined in Section 124(7) of Public Law 106-252 (Mobile Telecommunications Sourcing Act).

  • Telecommunication Services means the offering of Telecommunications for a fee directly to the public, or to such classes of users as to be effectively available directly to the public, regardless of the facilities used.

  • telecommunication service means service of any description (including electronic mail, voice mail, data services, audio text services, video text services, radio paging and cellular mobile telephone services) which is made available to users by means of any transmission or reception of signs, signals, writing, images and sounds or intelligence of any nature, by wire, radio, visual or other electromagnetic means;

  • telecommunication system means any system (including the apparatus comprised in it) which exists (whether wholly or partly in Jersey or elsewhere) for the purpose of facilitating the transmission of communications by any means involving the use of electrical or electro- magnetic energy;

  • public communications network means an electronic communications network used wholly or mainly for the provision of electronic communications services available to the public which support the transfer of information between network termination points;

  • Telecommunication means the emission, transmission or reception through the agency of electricity or electromagnetism of any sounds, signals, signs, writing, images or intelligence of any nature by wire, radio, optical or other electromagnetic systems whether or not such signs, signals, writing, images, sounds or intelligence have been subjected to rearrangement, computation or other processes by any means in the course of their transmission, emission or reception;

  • Telecommunications Service is as defined in the Act.

  • public telecommunications service means the transmission by electromagnetic or other means, other than by a telephone company as defined in section 4927.01 of the Revised Code, of signs, signals, writings, images, sounds, messages, or data originating in this state regardless of actual call routing. "Public telecommunications service" excludes a system, including its construction, maintenance, or operation, for the provision of telecommunications service, or any portion of such service, by any entity for the sole and exclusive use of that entity, its parent, a subsidiary, or an affiliated entity, and not for resale, directly or indirectly; the provision of terminal equipment used to originate telecommunications service; broadcast transmission by radio, television, or satellite broadcast stations regulated by the federal government; or cable television service.

  • Network means the participating providers described in the Provider Directory.

  • Telecommunications service provider means that term as defined in Section 219a of the Michigan Penal Code, supra, as may be amended from time to time. As of January 2012, "Telecommunications Service Provider" is defined to mean any of the following:

  • Cable Television Network or “cable TV network” means any system consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and associated signal generation, control and distribution equipment, designed to provide cable service for reception by multiple subscribers;

  • Networks the Local Area Network, network equipment, computer systems, and local cable infrastructure, at the Sites, to which the Service will be connected. “Installation Fee” – the combined charge for the survey, equipment and the Installation Service, including excess construction charges, as specified on the Service Agreement or other amended documentation following site survey.
