The County Convention definition

The County Convention means the meeting with responsibility for electing / appointing the Officers etc. of the County Committee who shall hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual Convention.

  • The County Convention meets within the respective county and, “proceed(s) to organize by electing from its own number a chairman and either from its own number, or otherwise, such other offices as such committee may deem necessary or expedient.” Note the County Chairman must be a member of the County Republican Central Committee, in other words, a Precinct Committeeman like you.

  • The County Convention shall be recessed in non-general election years and may be reconvened in the following general election year, during the month set by the State Committee, to conduct such business as it deems advisable, including nomination of candidates.

  • The County Convention Delegates will elect State Convention Delegates and Alternates, caucusing by their presidential preference to elect the number of State Convention Delegates and Alternates allocated to their preferred candidates.

  • The County Convention shall elect a County Chair, Associate Chair (of different gender identities the opposite sex), Secretary, Treasurer, and any other officers deemed necessary by the County Chair, and may adopt a County Platform and transact other such business as may come before it.

  • The County Convention shall elect a chair, a vice-chair, and an executive committee of the County Committee.

  • the Convention means the Convention on International Civil Aviation opened for signature at Chicago on 7 December 1944, and includes: (i) any amendment that has entered into force under Article 94(a) of the Convention and has been ratified by all the Contracting Parties to this Agreement, and (ii) any Annex or any amendment thereto adopted under Article 90 of the Convention, insofar as such Annexes or amendments are, at any given time, effective for all the Contracting Parties to this Agreement;

  • Preceding Business Day Convention means that the relevant date shall be brought forward to the first preceding day that is a Business Day;

  • Day Count Convention Fixed rate period: 30/360. Floating rate period: 360-day year and the number of days actually elapsed.

  • County board means a county board of developmental disabilities.

  • Paris Convention means the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883, as last revised;
