Therapeutic Use Exemption definition

Therapeutic Use Exemption means an exemption granted in accordance with Standards for Granting Therapeutic Use Exemptions.
Therapeutic Use Exemption or “TUE”, means an exemption to take a substance for medical purposes which is normally prohibited under these Anti-Doping Regulations. The procedure for the grant of a Therapeutic Use Exemption is set out in the Regulations and Schedule Four;
Therapeutic Use Exemption means an exemption referred to in section 20(1) or (2);

Examples of Therapeutic Use Exemption in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the sentence immediately preceding, such termination of employment of the Employee by the Company For Cause shall not adversely affect his rights to any benefits under the Company's employee benefit plans or arrangements in which he may be a participant, in accordance with the provisions thereof, including but not limited to those referred to in Section VI, G hereof.

  • If required, the Athlete is responsible for applying for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) with the World Triathlon or his or her NADO in a timely manner.

  • Note: The detection in an Athlete’s Sample at all times or In-Competition, as applicable, of any quantity of the following substances subject to threshold limits: formoterol, salbutamol, cathine, ephedrine, methylephedrine and pseudoephedrine, in conjunction with a diuretic or masking agent, will be considered as an Adverse Analytical Finding (AAF) unless the Athlete has an approved Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) for that substance in addition to the one granted for the diuretic or masking agent.

  • Athlete agrees to consult with the Team Manager about any medications (prescribed or over-the-counter) taken before or during the Event, including obtaining any Therapeutic Use Exemption that may be needed.

  • Not use banned substances that contravene the rules of World Archery and the Canadian Anti-Doping Program, other than those drugs approved by a medical doctor and/or approved by the National Coach and approved by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport through a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) form.

Therapeutic Use Exemption means an exemption that allows an athlete with a medical condition to use a prohibited substance or prohibited method, but only if the conditions set out in Article 4.4. of the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions are met;
Therapeutic Use Exemption means an exemption to use a prohibited substance or prohibited method and which is obtained in a manner as described in Appendix 1 and Article 4.4. of the World Anti-Doping Code;
Therapeutic Use Exemption means Therapeutic Use Exemption as defined in Appendix 1;
Therapeutic Use Exemption or “TUE” allows an Athlete with a medical condition to use a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method, but only if the conditions set out in Article 4.4 of the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions are met. The authorisation for an athlete to take a medication that is used for genuine and legal therapeutic purposes, comes with prior approval granted by an independent TUE Committee as assigned by the ADS.
Therapeutic Use Exemption means an exemption that allows an athlete with a medical condition to use a prohibited substance or prohibited method in accordance with the applicable requirements as set forth in the Code and the relevant WADA International Standard;
